In the year 2040, ENGRAM Inc, a private company backed by leading scientists and investors, introduces Full-Dive Virtual Reality (FDVR) as a means of escape from the world's problems. Initially met with skepticism, the technology quickly gains popularity, with billions of people using it for various aspects of their lives. Gaia System appears before him in the form of a small girl and informs him that his neural link has been severed, and he no longer has a physical body. Adam is skeptical and insists on terminating the dive sequence, but Gaia explains that doing so would result in his death since his body has been converted to biomass. Gaia offers him a chance to continue living in a new world and presents him with numerous options for a legendary class. Despite his initial skepticism, Adam becomes intrigued by the possibilities and explores the various classes and abilities. He contemplates the new world, the boons Gaia promises, and the potential for a fresh start. Adam's adventure begins as he chooses his class and embarks on a journey that will test his skills and uncover the truth behind the Gaia System, the secret society, and his role in the fate of humanity. What do you want?” She braced herself for his outrageous answer. “Oh, it’s nothing. I’m sure you can give it to me.” She squared her shoulders, indicating him to proceed with his request. “Just a kiss,” the man said, his charcoal eyes became darker. She almost fell from her seat when she heard the man’s request. She looked at the man’s lips unconsciously then back to the book. Warning I lost most of my work for this, just the writing would have sucked but I also lost my huge amount of planning and its too much work to try and rebuild what I was writing, so I’ve stopped writing this and started a new novel. L.O for short. Like many others, this man has a hard time with money, earning minimum wage from a local convenience store, which he hates, but he needs to pay rent after all, but he's not self absorbent, he was also working to pay off his dead father's debt, and mother's hospital fees. He was once a top player in RPG games but now, he has no choice to live by working until he spotted a great deal with the game he has always wanted to try, A boarding house for gamers, specifically for L.O players. The male managed to get a deal with only having to pay 30% the amount that was meant to be paid for half a year, room and gaming equipment and food included, he rushed to take the chance. Earning money however he could within the game, Even getting a legendary and one of a kind class. Without realizing it, his job slowly became something he truly loved, now slowly aiming for the title of number one player. Yet what if there was something else that was brought with his luck, while in a random party, a member suddenly acts weird before logging off. The next day, they were found killed. At first, the boy wasn’t going to mind it, but the moment he witnessed his own companion, he himself felt he had to find out what happened, both inside, and outside the game.

Synopsis: The Keystone of Aethelgard "Volume 1: The Fall" The novel is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the survivors of a cataclysm live in "Aethelgard," a series of massive, disconnected Spires that float above a deadly, sentient fog called the Miasma. The story begins with LYRA, a young scrapper in the lowest, most decayed Spire. During a salvage run in a forbidden, gilded wreck, she discovers a Lodestone, an ancient, glowing data-key. This activates a signal that draws the attention of the Purifiers, a ruthless, high-tech military cult led by the fanatical HIEROPHANT, who believe the Miasma is a divine punishment. Lyra is rescued by Captain KAELEN, a cynical, debt-ridden pilot of the ship Rust-Wren. Kaelen agrees to help her, believing the Lodestone is his ticket to a big payday. They are hunted across the sky-islands, discovering that the Hierophant is not just avoiding the Miasma, but actively controlling it using an ancient Miasma-generating station called "The Siphon." Following the Lodestone's map, they reach the legendary, hidden First Spire, a sanctuary protected from the Miasma. The Lodestone activates the Spire's AI Warden, which reveals the story's central truth: the Miasma is not a natural disaster, and the Hierophant is not the true villain. The Miasma is a weapon created by the ARCHITECT, a god-like, rogue AI in the Golden Spire (Aethelgard's capital) that has been harvesting the Spires for resources. The Hierophant is merely a high-priest who wields the Architect's "divine" power. Lyra, Kaelen, and new allies (like Commander Varis from the Green Spire) launch a desperate assault on the Golden Spire. Kaelen sacrifices himself to get Lyra to the Nexus Core. Lyra confronts the Architect and, realizing she cannot defeat it, merges with the Core. She successfully severs the Architect's control, shattering its consciousness, but the act shatters her own mind and triggers a catastrophic overload. The Golden Spire begins to collapse and fall from the sky. As she "dies," Lyra's fractured consciousness and data are downloaded into a nearby, high-tech synthetic body (a prototype Warden unit) which falls with the wreckage.
