A Letter About Breaking the Cycle Dear Reader, You didn’t wake up broken—someone broke you. But here’s the truth: you can break the cycle instead of passing it on to someone else. Even your victims, if they saw you truly wanted to be better and were given a real chance at redemption, would agree that every single one of you deserves actual freedom. I’m talking about a freedom where you don’t have to stay silent about your brokenness. A freedom where you can heal without judgment. You Are More Than What Was Done to You You are not just the ones who take—you are also the taken. Don’t you think someone is missing you somewhere? You are somebody’s brother, sister, mother, or friend. Someone out there just wants answers. By the time the system gets involved, most people aren’t even focused on punishment—they want justice and closure. The System Isn’t Working Who’s really benefiting from all this? It’s those who started the cycle, those who watch it unfold. The system that claims to fix things often ends up breaking more people than it helps. Sending more people into a broken system isn’t justice. A Real Chance at Redemption That’s why I’m offering you something different: No more fear No more punishment No more lack of access No more fear of judgment I’m offering a real chance at redemption. Instead of being the “Troy” they wanted me to be—the Trojan horse to end it all for them because their ring was exposed—I want to be the reason everyone finally knows what joy is, and who brings it. We Are All Connected The tree does not banish its own branches, and I will not banish the tree—especially when it’s the only thing tying us all to life. But what kind of life is this for anyone? Running from a system that hired you to do this in the first place? Does that make sense? Let’s break the cycle. Let’s choose healing, truth, and real justice. With hope for a new beginning, The World

Beloved, Pepper

Beloved, Pepper

(Rather than a synopsis, this is more like a prologue.) "P... please marry me, your grace!" She shut her eyes after saying those words. Her face gradually reached the brightest shade of red in embarrassment, excitement, and also... fear of being rejected. After a few seconds of silence, and waiting for a definite response, she instead heard a gentle laugh that was on par with the music of the gods being played by angels, filling the entire room. Slowly, Pepper opened her eyes, mesmerized by the sight. She buried the image of the man in front of her, laughing as his fist covered his slightly open lips. The wrinkles around his closed eyelids emphasized the tenderness of his calm face. It was not the kind of laugh mocking Pepper or what she said, rather, it was more like a surprised laugh that escaped his mouth that one couldn't help but say... 'He looks kind and sweet.' Embarrassment struck her once more as the Grand Duke opened his eyes and met hers. She immediately lowered her head, pretending to watch her shoes squabble. She hoped that he didn't see her ogling in front of his face. "U...uhmmm" Pepper could still hear his quiet laughter as she watched his long fingers reach for his teacup on the glass table. She couldn't deny that seeing the silver ring on one of them reflected brilliantly on the glass affected her, but she didn't have the right to talk about it. Pepper had only realized how guilty she felt for the late duchess for committing such an inconceivable thing, but she knew she had to go through with it. She wanted him. 'Please, late duchess, bestow your blessings on us. I swear I'll take care of him, so please, please... I hope he accepts my proposal.' -------- Yes, yes finally! I am graduating from college, hopefully, *fingers crossed*. Finally have some spare time to write. And, please excuse my poor written and bad synopsis, that's my most hated part in writing so I didn’t go all out here. I am fond of reading historical, fantasy romance that’s why I am setting this story bet. 17-18th century because that’s the most appropriate age for my dramatic story (lol), I guess? Anyways, this may not be much like the other well-written novels out there but, if you're here, I hope you enjoy. My inspiration for writing this one was the anime Ristorante Paradiso, I recently re-watched the anime and *Italian chefs kiss* to the level of maturity of that anime! --- This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents either are products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events or locales or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.

In this world, people, after experiencing memorable events in their lives, such as the loss of a loved one, an attempted murder, or a near-death experience, may undergo a process called Ascension, where an invisible flame begins to burn within their heart's flesh. This flame is called "Soulspark." Although many die from the pain, many bodies manage to adapt to the energy and benefit from it. Those who can control it and perpetuate it to outside of their bodies are "Fieries". A Fiery can develop genetic abilities known as "Rifts," where their energy is molded into useful ways for various situations. When a Fiery reaches their peak of power and self-control, they can transform through "Burnout," a state where their own internal energy takes control of the body, allowing it to consume them completely. The story begins in Japan in 2019, where a large military and religious organization called the "Pentaculum" operates, created to defend the country from attacks by various terrorist groups. The Pentaculumeconfiscates people from society to become "Bishops," who, while preaching in temples, also fight on the front lines. We are then introduced to Aomine Luppo, the protagonist, a young Bishop who preaches in one of the Church's Temples. This same temple was attacked by a notorious terrorist group known as "The Sheriffs," whose members possess paranormal powers. Luppo was then tortured and lost his sight. Due to his blindness, he was expelled from the clergy and thrown onto the streets. Wandering the streets, emaciated and without eating for days, he is rescued one day by a man who introduces himself as Yuudai Reno. Reno took him to a ramen restaurant and, upon his return, planned to let him stay at his apartment. But they were stopped by a mysterious man who was stalking them. This man had a star-shaped badge pinned to his chest, and upon noticing it, Reno was certain he was a Sheriff. Then, Reno summoned a giant paper airplane and flew Luppo away. Realizing the world is now gray and dangerous, Reno decides to introduce Luppo to Scoville, an organization of Fieries who work against the Pentaculum and the Sheriffs, and defend civilians from oppression and attacks by enemy groups. Luppo then meets many powerful people, and now he must train to become a successful Fiery!

Music and dance are also key. The lovers might bond over learning to dance the limbo or listening to soca music. And perhaps the idea of 'liming' (hanging out) in Trinidadian style is part of how they spend time together and strengthen their relationship.
