I'm a Pastor, what the hell is an Acute Gastroenteritis Outbreak Spell?!

I'm a Pastor, what the hell is an Acute Gastroenteritis Outbreak Spell?!

I found myself in a parallel universe, awakening as a male priest. Everything seemed perfect; after all, as a healer, specializing in aiding women should pose no issue, right? However, I couldn't help but wonder about some peculiar spells in my repertoire. Firstly, what in the world is the "Instantaneous Outbreak of Acute Gastroenteritis" spell? And don't even get me started on the "Osteoporosis" spell. What purpose could these serve in my healing endeavors? The confusion only deepened with spells like "Blood Burn," "Gradual Freeze," and "Mental Chaos." Can I still peacefully focus on healing women with such ominous abilities? Comparing my spells to those of other professions, I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast. Mages wield "Doomstorm" and "Ice Age," swordsmen boast "Sword Rain: Homecoming" and "Wind-Cutter Slash," while archers showcase "Arrow Rain: Shooting Stars" and "Storm Arrow." Yet, my ultimate spells are disturbingly named "Cancer Cell Proliferation," "T-Virus Infection," and "Rabies Outbreak." In the midst of it all, a certain character, some crying girl, laments, "Noooo, I just took a bath, who would have thought that I would become infected!" Meanwhile, a villain chillingly asks, "Do any of you know what it feels like to burst apart while spouting blood? No! You don't know!" Even a boss character confesses, "Dear family, who can understand? I just took a nap, and when I woke up, I suddenly found that I have no kidneys!"

She then met with the icy red eyes that brood down upon her appearance, drinking into every inch of her figure as if he was studying her, even to how those breaths escaped her lips. "I thought we had bonded over the days we have spent together, Bella," he sang, his bright scarlet eyes betraying the singing tone he had used as it had grown so dark and filled with anger. "Yet you left so quickly as soon as I opened the castle gate." Bella gritted her teeth, her eyes glaring at him as she defiantly shook his hand off her face, "I can remind you if you have forgotten it, Your Majesty, I am kept here against my wish." Cassius' smile faded as he stared at her. The sudden pin-drop silence filled her nerves with tension as she found his smileless face the most terrifying sight. She had always known his fearsome side however, it felt scarier tonight. Bella tried to endure how loud her heart had raced against her chest, gathering her breaths together even though it remained shallow in his presence. "So cold," he muttered, his tone trying to tease her, but she could see the raw anger crossing his eyes. "You cannot run from me. Not after what we've done. Not after what you promised." Her heart faltered. She wasn't supposed to stay in this castle; she knew that the royal palace was filled with those vampire monsters who would kill for their desire, simply to have fun. She knew she should never give her heart to any of these monsters, and she had once believed she would never. But that was until Cassius came. She had made that promise because her heart had betrayed her, and she wished that she had never uttered that promise. Promises she had made to him on the call of love. Yet deep within her, a part of her still crave for him. "You're not the first one I have broken my promises with," she gritted her teeth and looked up at him, "I broke my promise the way you broke yours first, isn't it fair?" "Fair? Then was everything a lie, Arabella?" he murmured, his hands cupping her face, forcing her to meet his eyes. "You were mine the moment you entered my castle. And you will be mine until the very end." She gulped as his eyes shone underneath the moonlight, his gaze unforgiving over her, exposing his wild hunger. Her breath caught, her pulse quickening. "A human and a vampire should have never stayed together. They were all right." "I don't care," he spoke through his clenched jaw. "You're going to remain here by my side forever."

An angel‘s road to hell

An angel‘s road to hell

What happens if the one transcendent being that cares for mortals fell and got a second chance in a world full of magic, intrigue and possibly even friendships? Does the past determine the future or are we all able to pick our own destiny? An angel, one of the two nigh immortal species in existence, has been hunted and killed by his own kind because he wasn’t prepared to watch silently while his people followed their own desires to whatever end. When, against all odds, he opened his eyes again, he was someone else, his past and powers hidden deep within him. On an ancient world, with advanced magic but medieval technology, he was reborn as Cassandra Pendragon, the youngest daughter of one of the five royal families on Boseiju, the home of the fox tribe, the kitsune. As she grew up, who she was and who she had been, started shaping her future. Forgotten friends and unknown enemies began knocking at her door and while she struggled to find her way between the past and the present, the winds of war were already blowing across her home. I‘ll try to publish at least 2 chapters a week, probably more. The first story arc is pretty much mapped out. Should be around 150 or 160 chapters for the first volume (it’s taking much longer than I expected) and the second one is nearly finished as well. Try it, it should be one hell of a ride. One more thing: the first two chapters are more or less a prologue and if you want to, you can skip them, I wouldn’t recommend it, though. The writing style as well as the perspective shifts dramatically, afterwards. As for trigger warnings: it’s going to get gory from time to time, and the MC often has to pay a toll in blood. Additionally there are -mildly- sexualised scenes, once in a while, but nothing graphic. Lastly, somewhen webnovel changed the description box from female lead to female oriented. It’s mandatory and I can’t change it either way but I have no clue if the book is catering male or female preferences. I hope the description above makes up for whatever confusion it might cause.

The Angelic System That Turned My Life Into Hell

The Angelic System That Turned My Life Into Hell

[Enter Loogam or you will die.] “Huh?” For the 15-year-old Mika Elbar it was a day like any other. He casually spent his time strolling around the village. Mika was neither ambitious nor did he have a dream. Unlike the others in his age, he wasn’t really interested in adventures or subjugating monsters and demons to become a hero. It was enough for him to live his life peacefully with his family in the village. However, things didn’t go as planned. A voice in his head suddenly threatened him to enter the world’s most renowned magic academy, Loogam. The academy was known for producing the best mages, knights, adventures and even heroes. It goes without saying that whoever graduates from that academy will be swimming in fame and wealth. Thus, reluctantly, Mika decided to try to enter Loogam with no hopes of getting accepted. After all, his magic was below average and he didn’t even possess one of the world’s 66 mythic relics. Instead, he only had the guidance of a strange voice in his head and a rusty sword on his hip. But will that be enough to survive in the magic academy Loogam? In the world of Lorw, where dangerous and powerful monsters constantly threat the peace? ------------------------------------------------- Author's Note: This story is the first part of a planned trilogy. The sequels were meant to come out in 2025, but I’m not happy with their direction and don’t currently have the creative energy to continue the series the way it deserves. I may return to it in the future, but there’s no set schedule. Thank you for your patience and support.

The story of the Taoist priest's daughter was dragged to hell and was scared by Taotie. The Taoist priest was a retired Taoist priest who lived in an old temple. One day, he suddenly received a mysterious summon asking him to go to hell to save his daughter. Although the Taoist priest was puzzled, he still decided to go to hell to investigate. When he reached hell, he was blocked by a huge door and his daughter's voice came from behind the door. The Taoist priest asked his daughter if she was still alive. The Taoist priest was shocked and angry. He tried to open the door, but it closed automatically. He turned around and saw his daughter tied to the door by Taotie. Her face was filled with fear and pain. The Taoist priest decided to use his Taoist skills to save his daughter. He cast all kinds of spells and charms to finally save his daughter from the hands of Taotie. The daughter looked at the Taoist priest gratefully and said,"Thank you, father." It was you who saved me that I was able to escape from hell." The Taoist priest looked at his daughter and felt gratified. He knew that although his daughter had been taken to hell, she had not lost hope and courage. He deeply blessed his daughter and left hell. When the Taoist priest returned home, he told his wife about his experience. His wife told him that she had also heard some legends about hell. She said that hell was not a simple place. It was full of danger and punishment. However, the Taoist priest told his wife that he believed that his daughter would be able to walk out of hell safely. From then on, the Taoist priest began to teach his daughter how to protect herself from the attacks of demons and evil forces. He told his daughter that as long as she kept her faith and courage, she could overcome any situation.

Celebrating the second season, the plot dragged on
The second season of Joy of Life2 was considered a drag by the audience. The pace of the second season was slower and entered the main plot later. The first few episodes mainly revolved around the protagonist Fan Xian's " fake death " to develop a series of background explanations. These backgrounds were related to the interests of various parties, so the viewing was more boring. The audience generally felt that these plots were too long and lacked interesting clues, making people a little confused. In addition, there were some unimportant plot and comedy elements in the play, which were thought by the audience to interfere with the main plot and make the plot drag. The audience hoped that the plot could quickly return to the main storyline and speed up the pace. Overall, the audience was unhappy with the delay in the second season of Joy of Life2.
