Chapter 254: Everything is ready

The growing ominous feeling inside Guan Xian makes him restless. He couldn't stop his heart from aching until he witnessed Xia Sha's long eyelashes fluttering like a butterfly wing. Once those beautiful brown eyes met him, Guan Xian couldn't stop himself from taking a step closer toward Xia Sha. 

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Guan Xian's voice came out hoarse as he tried not to crush Xia Sha's hand on his grip. 

Xia Sha unclasp her dry lips and try to slip a weak smile in between her pale face. Her mellow gaze fell on Guan Xian as she shook her head, "I feel like shit. Thank you for asking."

Guan Xian wasn't expecting a joke after those mellow gazes. He's about to call the doctor when Xia Sha suddenly averts her gaze and guiltily says, "How's the situation right now? I should delay the opening night if it's too dire."
