Chapter 76: Human is so cruel

Xia Sha felt relief when she sees the warm, bright light from the Shen family residence. Still resting her head on the window, she looked at her mother with a tired look. 

"Mom..." She called out with a little voice. She sounds weak, nothing like her fierce performance an hour ago. 

"Hm?" Her mother looked at Xia Sha with her usual elegant demeanor. 

"How can you keep your cool like that?" Xia Sha smile warily.

Calmness is one of the best traits from her mother that she didn't have. Sure, she can be very chatty sometimes and fought a lot with Xia Qi Feng. But most of the time, she is calm and preserves. 

"I knew them sooner than you. I shouted until I lose my voice already." Her mother holds her breath before sighing heavily. "Xia Sha, Mommy apologized to you. I didn't give you the option to choose back then. I was a wreck."
