Chapter 139: Pretty Adorable

Xia Sha sat outside the emergency unit. She felt her soul just left her body while watching the doctor rushing inside the room to save her grandfather. 

She knew Xia Qi Feng was running to her side. She watched him from the corner of her eyes, but she has no energy left, even to hug her father.

Father Xia looked at Xia Sha's pale face. He controls the emotion topping inside his heart. He slows down and takes a seat next to Xia Sha, and pat her back slowly.

"It's okay. Grandfather will be just fine. He will be alright. He always does," He mumbles while trying to calm his daughter. 

Xia Sha pressed her lips and wiped tears on her cheek. She took long exhales and inhales, trying to push something out from her tongue. 

"I was talking to him. He was alright a moment ago. How could this happen?" She talks slowly with a restrained sob.
