Xia Sha squinted her eyes when Guan Xian suddenly take the empty seat next to her. She hasn't seen him since Meng Ran tried to provoke her in the bowling lane. She tried to ask Ji Cun Xi, but he somehow keeps engage her in unwanted conversation. 

"Where have you been?" she probed a question as soon as their eyes met. 

"Uh? Why? Did you miss me?" Guan Xian seems surprised Xia Sha would ask him straightforwardly. Usually, she would play with words and avoid direct questioning. 

Xia Sha furrowed her eyebrow and averted her gaze almost instantly. Guan Xian wrinkled his nose when people from their table shot him a questioning glance. 

"I was talking with Xiao Ni. She seems sad because Wang Kai bought Bai Jing as his date," Guan Xian stares appraisingly at Xia Sha. His mouth quirks up. 

Xia Sha's expression softens after she heard Guan Xian's answer. She leaned slightly toward Guan Xian and whispered in a low voice.
