Its is readable, good for wasting time... BUT, if you turn on your brain to read this. Everything is messed up, everything is nonsense and too much plothole. Its like generic cliche drama, after chapter 500++ more nonsense coming. MC become so dull, far from great coach mean. Yeah in span of 500 chapter everything just turn from journey of great coach become fanatic fans(no skill as coach) just getting help from plot not from his skill. .

I have read this last about a year ago and am now rereading this but i just waNt to tell everyone to vote for this authors new/other book Fox in the penalty area so we can hopefully all reqd another masterpiece

I fell in love with this novel at first sight it managed to Ignite the flame I have for football again after years of it being extinguished. But the author just ruined it with the pedophile relationship. The MC was going to adopt the the girl as his daughter who later on became his wife. While he had a perfectly good woman who was beautiful, his age, and cared for him. But nope the 13 yo girl became his wife... That alone ruined the novel for me

Very well written story. For those who like football especially English Premier League, this would be an engrossing read. It has so many elements and does not feel repetitive.

This was the first time I've cried while reading a book (during Twain' and Demi's retirement). The author is obviously a very big fan of football and does extensive research so props to them.
