Couldn't find if I reviewed this or not, but the first time I read this I would have given it probably 4 stars, but after going back through parts here and there I have found so many holes in this story I that not even Flex Seal could stop a leak. You have MC who adjusts to the new world, then conveniently author makes him supposedly hold Earth values, then makes him act like a Man from that world. Examples are Women should be treated fairly and let them be them, then later he wants Nuwa to stay silent and let him handle everything like a good housewife in the kitchen... Then he also can't stand any men to even look at his women like he is from the Middle East and not Modern Japan... The MC keeps saying he will die for his women, yet he forgets that if he dies 2 of his women will die with him because he dies. He is so narrow minded that everytime he tries to act Heroic and Manly what he says and does just makes him look like a idiot.... Then you have the characters cultivation hops all over the place. During the 90 Chapter single day, MC levelup 4 times in one day. (Spirit Lord in the morning, then Overlord late morning level up #1, Somehow makes Emperor but not seen in the story #2, in the Evening he levels up twice hitting Saint stage then Sage stage). Then you have Jiao who when she first meets him she is probably Saint stage, maybe Sage, but in 2-3 weeks she makes it to Peak Monarch stage and ascends with a pill from her sister... I know the WN authors try to turn out chapters quickly, but there was so much stuff that was harped upon early that just fell to wayside. By chapter 300 or so the need to get Fate Fragments that Link harped on was dropped in exchange for getting Fate Stones. Author said this was a learning period on this story, but I haven't seen any improvement in the 2nd part of this story Against Heaven's Will. For me I like the ladies as their banter, and actions are what make the story for me, the MC is what ruins and drags down this story.
