One of the best book...up to point and not a lot of melodrama. But the story line is way more interesting and keeps a reader bonded with the characters in the novel. And the ending is also closed with beautiful epilog that leaves a bit of melancholic feeling as the story has finally come to end. It was written beautifully as it makes the reader think they are experiencing it themselves. Looking forward to read author's other novels.

I won't lie. It was really hard to read several chapters due to grammar and spelling mistakes. However, I truly enjoyed this story. Jun Hua is a great character, and her growth was well executed. I found you've grown as a writer since this one ended, compared with your current novel (Nan Hua's story).

This is a great strong woman in historical era. @Sorahana, writer, did I miss the clue for FL’s moms’ issue back in the poor village. I don’t remember what the letter from a Lan servant was about. Or please direct me to the chapter that explains that part. There were many grammar issues, but I’m with them. Many foreign stories have this issue.

The concept and storyline were really amazing. However, the grammatical errors starting from 100+ chapters just ruined the reading experience. It would have been nice if there were editors.

It could be a wonderful book. But it is hard to overlook the grammar mistakes because frequent switch between pronoun gender (he/she, him/her, his/hers) induce mistakes in the interpretation of the story development. And the story is worth reading. The main characters are too perfect and arrogant and there is too much repetition of ideas. And yet, it is worth reading, so the story line is really reach and enticing. Desperately needs an editor.

I have a love/dislike relationship with this story. I love all the parts when FL is Jun Min, the Young General Jun Min!! I especially love all the action/battlefield parts! It’s written so well, you just get sucked into the moment!! The parts I dislike stems from when FL is Jun Hua. Mainly all the annoying, bs drama, women of that era has to endure and go thru! Women are so oppress, they end up maliciously fighting and competing against each other….(I guess since they can’t do it to the men who put them in that position??) Still, a great a read! I’d like to read a male MC story from this author!

I love this book, it’s incredibly well written, the plot line and ideas for the novel are really good and the execution of those ideas were excellent. The characters are fresh and interesting and the interactions are funny. It’s a shame that the ending is more romance, which sort of disappointed me after the amazing non-romantic 400 or so chapters prior. It’s also a shame that Jun Hua Min no longer fights on the battlefield, this was one part of the story I highly disliked, her fighting on the battlefield was my most favourite part of the story. The romance also throws me off and I also didn’t like the side relationships either, but other than that, this was one of my most favourite novels.

It's a good story. Just love it! Though it tells about warring era but focus more on the relationship between the characters. My first book of this author and I already am reading the second...

The novel is very good. The only problem is, there is too much coincidence that makes the story wrong. For the story to be fluid, the author should not play with chance and luck.

I love this novel because it’s not like the other ones I’ve read before. The FL doesn’t Kill everyone indiscriminatley when she gets her revenge and gives people chances to start again and change there character for the good. So I recommend This novel to anyone who reads this 😄😄
