It seems to have a good development and is well written, unfortunately I had to abandon it when I saw the MC accepting gifts from his corrupt subordinate. I have a certain repulsion towards corrupt people because of the country I live in, so I couldn't bear to read a novel where the MC is one. I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I don't see much of a problem with reading stories where the MC is a mass murderer, but I can't read rapists and corrupt MC. I believe it's a good story and I really wanted to read this and see Wang Lin, Su Ming, Meng Hao and Bai Xiaochun.

This is one of Er Gen's masterpieces. I invested a lot of time in reading this novel. Up to chapter 917 everything was just fine but then translation quality just went downhill. What a giant letdown. Absolute disgrace (and webnovel expects you to pay for mtl quality translation). I say no thank you. Who ever let this monstrosity of a translation happen should get fired. This ruined the whole novel for me and there is no way I am forcing myself to read mtl even if its Er Gen's work.

Another beautiful story by Er Gen. At least it would be, if Webnovel would take the translation seriously. New chalters are being released in batches, but they seem like MTL that has been run through a grammar check. 😔

I love Er Gen and this is quite the funny book. Translation o fit was dropped about 900 chapters in for quite some time. When it was brought back I was very happy, but it is clear that they are basically just copy/pasting machine translations here. Even the names of characters are sometimes translated and sometimes partially translated. There is no continuity of the terms being used either (for example cultivation realms), and a huge number of grammatical mistakes in the most recently translated chapters.

the story is not to bad, the writing style doesn't overly word things or tries to beautify everything to up the word count, the translation was great up till ch 800ish+ and then it looks like the og translation dropped it and it went over to mtl

Read this book sometime 2020 and all i have to say is WANG BAOLE!!! 😂😂😂 Really brings back memories, didn’t finish it but its an amazing work of art. annoying asf but he grows on you ✨✨

It is unfortunate that they discontinued the translation. This is one of Er Gen’s funnier novels and after AWE is my favorite to date. Wish they would pick it back up

this book is a good change of pace from Er gen's other grim novels. MC does seem ridiculous in start but rounds up nicely latter and his personality gets endearing quality. apart from world building , it's a good novel

I just come to say that please remove the yaoi label, it has nothing to do with that lol I came exactly for that genre but every time I moved forward with the novel made me feel that something was wrong, I suspected after the 20 chapters until I decided to investigate according to what time the Ml would appear, which led me to realize that QwQ is not bad the novel but it is also not my cup tea hahaha I wonder that so many others will have fallen as I XD

Those first chapters were so bad that I don't even feel like reading it further. The logic about him being fat, his reasonings, and ffs, what an annoying character.
