I keep forgetting how short of a time span this novel covers so far.

This novel and time have some disagreements. Like how sometimes the game has been up for years (or hinted to be) but tier 5 players are scarce, when leveling to t4 seems to take a month or two. Even at three months, and another 3 for tier 5, wouldn't most players who started playing early be at tier 6 or 7? The faster ones tier 8? Or just max?
