Let the autor make the story like he want, there will be people who like the way it's going and others who dislike. But it's not because of a single plot that we can say that the quality plummet. Wait an other plot like this and at this moment what u say will maybe be true mister Maekellen.

He had promise, but somewhere along the line, QR became stupid. I would have listened to my initial qualms, mostly because while he's Tier 4, his friend is still an inexperienced Tier 3. Plus it's not like he was trying to impress her anyway...
