This writer is really something else... he spent half a chapter talking about how daunting and difficult the advancement quest is and end his half a chapter long complaint with that the mc is not flustered at all. If there is one thing this writer is absolutely hopeless with is emotions and to display emotions nuances to the actual situation

Sounds like his strategy should be to have his pet stun locking the mobs in place while the lava finishes them off, he just needs to focus on healing for the two of them.
