The story is about 6 years old being prodigies. 6 to 8 yrs old kid appearing like cabbages. Showing their intellect and skill this is like every kid here is on detective conan level with how sharp they are . While the adults are all dumb. Still a good read to past time.

Single biggest problem this novel has is the first 15 chapters are laughable crap. What's more that's it tries to get you to empathize with the protagonist and hate the antagonists, but it just doesn't work. Even though the prose gets better the concept never does. The way things get structured is you wind up with a wish fulfillment fantasy where the pov is from somebody who does horrible things to people because they might harm him

Man this is rough.
TLDR: It's hard to get past the stupid
The opening 15 chapters or so are singularly horrible. Bad grammar, spelling usage, you name it, it's there. The setup is also hard to bear. We are talking plotholes and idiot balls per page. The only thing that got me through it was laughing at how bad it was.
Next it shifts to arc of the super 6 yr old. All you need to get through this section is being able to believe a 6 yr old can beat up multiple ***** yakuza and your golden. There are other problems but trying to keep this spoiler free here.
I guess the final word on this is I have no trouble dropping it a third of the way through

This is one of my favorite novels in Qidian. The characters are believable, the world building is amazing. It's full of twists and turns. Overall it's great. The one thing that sucks is that Ruruci takes a month between chapters. Still one of the best revenge stories on Qidian.
