The people she thinks tries to kill her, weren't actually trying to harm her at all. So he kinda set his own trap there. The only thing he can do is tell her the truth and hope that her feelings don't change once she gets her memories back.

For these type of FLs we need a catalyst to gain their confession...like ML being on verge of dying...its the most practical and efficient way for confessions...just throw ML in a car accident and FL will confess her undying 'love' for him.
