I just started this book a week ago and finished it......there are many similarities with many books i have read...its like you can find a word or two or phrases that would reflect the books i read. However, this book has good adventure story...liked it a lot because i like stories that has many friends and family members who also get to have their side stories.....a good read. Author, good job. Going to the next one on Xue Yin.......but i prefer books that are finished because there are many stories in my library where the authors don't return to complete the stories and that makes me furious as so much of my money are wasted on the books.

Overall, I loved this novel and I think it is the author's first published novel so in as much as I would love to encourage the author, I still have to give an honest review.
Pros
-The characters are great and interesting and the relationship between the main characters was great. No rape, no disrespect or stuffs like that and that was great.
- The story is interesting. The elements of fantasy were not too overboard and the whole story had a nice balance and flow.
- A lot of fluff, comedy, right amount of drama
Cons
-The choice of words and spelling errors at some point made it painful to read. A lot of words were used that didn't fit the purpose and were clearly homophones( or almost) of the intended words.
-There were some parts that were incoherent. That's to say what was written was different from what was told before.( for example, when narrating the Mu family story, we were told the Mu parents were in love with each other and that's why the Mu dad married his wife but later on in the novel, we are told the Mu dad was in love with another woman but married his wife because she was pregnant and he had to take responsibility ).
All in all thanks Flow07 for the novel and I look forward to her aother works.

Just love the story it show how the lady Mu Lan hardship are ever she was a child. I still can't believe as a child she still had the courage to endure everything and protect her mother and brother even I can't have that courage. Bt Mu Liang coming to her life is the best thing for her now she is happy can't wait to finish the book. The more I read the more I believe true love is actually out there.
