you people don't realize in most cultivation novels plants can create a human form after a few thousand years and a lot of the plants he was taking care of already had some basic intelligence.
the woman from chapter 34 at the end "In an unknown location, a woman sits on a throne. She's clad is adorned with a ****** crown. Her form is not discernible by mortals. Her eyes long closed suddenly open. "Grace attend me!" she commands. A young beauty followed by cloaked servants fly in. They all kneel subserviently to the woman on the throne. "He has reincarnated. Find him at all costs!" She instructs. "Yes, mother!" The young beauty acknowledges." was probably the white water lily plant he took care of and sent away with all the other plants in the formations just now.
I really enjoyed how the story is gaining a lot more depth to it with this back flash. I have been following this story since the beginning and I’m impressed how well it’s developing. It’s one of my favorites right now. Keep up the good work.
You did state that he was just an outer sect gardener that bumped into the hero and turned into his stepping stone. In retrospect, his current narrative actually shows how badass he was in the past
