This doesn't seem like a good test, more like stupidity. This is not a usual game as it had serious impacts in real life, should have found a better way to test loyalty. Coz in many cases spies are the ones who stick to the last.
You all are right in your point but you forget about 1 thing. If her reveal that her still have plan to go to another place most of the spy will stay and monitored the remaining member whice is destroy the whole point of doing this royal test. So her made sacrifice but most spy thinking they are disbanding and no point stay anylonger and most spy are leave.
I'm kind of conflicted with this test though I knew it's the easiest way to remove those spies. At the end of the day, they still had a room for success because they'd move to our mc's territory.
I don't think it matters wetter or not it has real life consequences nor does it matter that their livelihoods were threatened. At the end of the day although the guild didn't give them their talents it did provided them with a platform to display those skills and talents, it did provided with the resources to nurture and grow those talents it also provided them with the connections to put those talents to use. Not that they couldn't do it without the guild but it would have take a lot longer to accomplish their current level. At the guild weakest, she didn't ask them for money, she didn't put a lock on the coffer, and just needed them to stay. Huff, good riddance I say. They will regret, they will regret till they bleed.
