Stupid bias of calvary versus infantry again. Have you ever seen a movie with calvary and infantry? Lu Bu might be good & punching a hole in the middle is a decent tactic, but horses get hurt & fall which causes more horses to crash & fall. It was dumb for the infantry to just continue to stand in 3 separate lines but the archers would have caused more damage than you give them credit for & you still haven't introduced case shot for the cannons...

Case shot, case shot would shred those calvary in any charge. Just one cannon firing a bag of case shot (ball bearings made of steel or lead or any metal) would shred them. Just imagine a 3 pound bag or canister with 1000 ball bearings the size of a grape... no more calvary. Oh and charging infantry on a narrow mountain trail, calvary would've died, sorry for your dramatic artistic license but you are wrong.
