I'm gonna have to drop this story if either of these 2 things happen: Shanhai loses the battlemap; Or Gaia still does something to tilt the favor to the opponents side, even though Shanhai is outnumbered 2 to 1. Gaia's been doing somethings that've been pissing me off a lot. Author keeps saying Gaia's fair to everyone, but it keeps doing stuff to lessen Shanhai's advantage over others (one that was gained through effort).

Lol it's interesting to see the same(ish) period setting as the Human Emperor from another novel's point of view. Let's see how it goes...

I think Gaia is doing this to make mc strive harder to succeed. Gaia may want a hero that thinks instead of one from the 2 major earth powers that constantly hedge and bet against each other
