LOved this book. very unique storyline . The main characters are so Very opposite and Yet, they know each other so well. great to read about another part Of the world and get to know customs. The leadIng ladies were fantastic !

the novel captures simple romance as well as different characters met in the world today....... Especially proud and unreasonable people who dont know when to keep their head down and when to fight back..... Captureing the weakness off some women in the contemporary society...........

I really don’t usually write reviews but I just had to make an exception. This story is phenomenal. I like the character growth and the realism. OH MY GULAY!!! Everyone acted like legit people even the villains. I actually found the villains enjoyable. They weren’t stupid but were actually capable. I liked the ending. Although I want some closure, but I agree with what the author said at the end. Thank you so much for this treasure!!!

I rated this even though I only read 15chaps so far. For some or for many, they might already be triggered by all the injustice, unfairness, inequality that these women have faced so far. But that's what actually makes me want to readthrough this novel. I want to know how they will actually change their circumstances for the better, hopefully.

ITs a bit different story then i Used to read bit i really appreciated the author being very realIstic and showing many Controversal subjectS being brought in non judGemental way. This is really a story about tWo friends-tWo women who Faced some challenges in their life and relationships in a culture where money and Status dictates fate.

This book has something special on its own.. I like this because it has a realistic views and I have learned so much from this... It tackles familial and relationship dramas... Dear author has achieved the goal of capturing my attention...😉

This realistic novel is pretty well written!! I got hooked in the minute I read the first chapter and i have to say I absolutely love it!! I’m glad I got into reading this one!

This was an amazing story, it definitely exceeded my expectations and it's not your average romance/drama. The different characters and their individual storylines compliment each other.

I must say i am pleasantly surprised by this novel. It is refreshing seeing characters develop at such a fast rate. All the main characters manage to have something that makes them realistically human. Every conflict has 2 sides and the maturity of the characters is pretty well done. Even the white lotus character in this story is done well and that is really rare lets just say she isn't a brainless bimbo. I am no writer but a avid reader and as one the only advice i can give to the writer is try to overdramatize the conflict(s), in this story though the conflicts were realistic they were a bit bland.

Ohh well.. Table for two.. At first i didn't mind the story coz i thought its just an ordinary story but as I read deeper... I like how the story goes.. I admired the best friends relationship. And about lin kang.. I hate him at first but he changed, so i didn't hate him at all..

Enjoy reading this book. Show some positive energy that people can change as long as the surrounding supports. Love the friendship and family interactions.

At chapter 30, this is a cynical , jaded and pessimistic outlook of relationships, men and women. Not for the faint hearted . A bit of a downer for me. Life is meant for living, not making do and losing yourself and faith on the way. 🙏

The more I read, the more interesting the story develops. Like the character development so far. Glad that characters change for the better, thanks to the positive influence from their surroundings

The social system, the social norms and the outlook are really strange even in today's world. In most of the apparently modern and forward countries also the value of women is still that of a second class citizen.

This story is definitely different from other stories out there. It does not start out as a wish fulfilment or ideal fantasy reality. It deals more mature women facing more challenging issues. The writing style is kind of a drawback. It's drawn out with all the explanations of the characters thoughts, actions, background or even minor processes. It is somehow redundant when a few chapters contain continuous paragraphs of this with no dialogue. At a point, I was skimming over the chapters rather than reading them, simply to extract relevant points rather than digest trivia. The characters are modeled quite realistically. Though the romance has a bit of cliche element, it's great. At first the characters are not bada$$ but their actions make you to wonder how you'd react in such a situation with career dreams, finances, society norms and your own darn good upbringing hold you back. A much appreciated novel!

It's a good read. In the beginning you kind of do not like any of the MC as they tend to be one dimensional to me. But they do progress..........
