I really like this novel... and because of this I decided to download webnovel. I'm very happy with how this is going... there's only around 200 chapters and I feel like this will be rushed...? I hope not.
Full of defects but always enjoyable.
1200+ chapters and I haven't dropped, so there's no need to explain much.
Pretty good descriptions of the places and characters, same for the fights.
The two main flaws are:
1. Stupid protagonist, continues to fall into the usual tricks yet has 2 previous lives behind him.
2. The classic increase in power of the enemies every time the protagonist progresses. Example: The protagonist has no powers, a Mage arrives and starts bullying. The protagonist becomes a mage, a Great Mage arrives and starts bullying and continues this way.
That said, I recommend the book.
After a long journey on this new planet full of magic we got the first contact and prove for aliving female being!!!!
It is a wonder.
No serious I am by no means somebody wo need a romantic plot in every novel (or any ;) ) but after like the first 50 chapt. i started to pay attention to this chronic lack of female characters and after rereading them and now reading till ch.277
i can confirm there wasnt even one female human being till now. Quite funny but kind of destroing the diversity in characters.
This book is one of my favorites and i totally fell in live with it by the 50th chapter, and yes at the beginning it is boring but it does get better. So far my favorite part of the entire book is the way the main charachter is designed.
Final Boring, do not waste your time, at the beginning of the 200 chapters is great everything well explained and it seems that will have a great conspiracy, but when Amis you read, only disappointment, plot and silly characters, explanations often meaningless and bland (it's just plot armor), The biggest secrets you see already at the end of the work are pretty boring, and many things he won along the way, people he knew who promised to help or maybe they had good potentials are completely forgotten, 1469 chapters and a great disappointment. 😞😥🤬💩
A very great story about Lin yun who gets transmigrated from the future (peak of the magic era) while it was being destroyed. He transmigrated into mafa merlin (a hopeless magic mage) and Lin yun's mission is to get strongel enough to face the destruction in the future.
No details of powers given whatsoever and new terms keep introducing themself with no explanation. I got to chapter 50 coz I liked the story and I thought I could endure but seriously it gets annoying in the later part. I seriously had to skip most paras and come to dialogues coz needless blabber.
Actually this will be my first book which grabbed my attention by theirso many reviews. I was little curious to know about the story & confuse bcz what is happening....so I hv decided to give chance...But lemme tell you dear author you didn't disappoint me....
I'm totally in love with this novel !
The story is super exciting I can't help but scroll to the next chapter every time...
The problem is that I am too tired at work the next morning...
(I'm French so sorry if my English is lacking)
I discovered this novel browsing through the recommended novels at the end of the last month and I haven't stopped reading it : I'm already near the 900th chapter and it's still excellent and interesting.
The story is original with a main character not overpowered but knowledgeable , the others characters are interesting and the is really good.
I recommend this original novel to all the fans of stories with supernatural, martial arts, cultivation and intelligent protagonist.
if you can get over the inconsistency of the writing, it's a great story. The MC is OP with less limitations everytime he grows. there's a good character build up but all the adversaries have the same kind of stupid. The only annoyance is that the author keeps changing facts or names like he doesn't remember what the f* he wrote in previous chapters.

Good luck for writing!
The novel is very meh, half of a chapter is typically a side character reacting to something an arrogant character said to the MC (And this happens all the time, constant brainless trash constantly provoking the MC, looking down on him, trying to frame him and doing a fucking terrible job at it)
The world building is pretty crap, it started okay, but so far it feels like the author has lost his way, the MC is from the future era so knows a lot, but a lot of what is said in early chapters becomes nonsense later, for example heaven rank mages were said to be the peak, super rare and when they appeared they ruled the world, then when the mc gets closer to that realm it suddenly becomes fairly common and then the realm about heaven rank becomes to top of the world...
This novel is so good to be true, can't take my eyes away from this. It feels like heaven to read, I wanna read it so much. If this novel got some drive, then thanked God its still alive. This novel is so good to be true, can't take my eyes away from this.
I need this novel like it's quite all right. I need this novel to warm my lonely nights. Just read this novel, cause I... say...
Check out my novel: Crowning Cruel Crow. Hahaha.
This novel is great, but it's definitely not for everyone.
The world-building and cultivation system is awesome. The MC is definitely OP, but his OP-ness comes from his smarts and knowledge which makes it feel much more rewarding than if it came from some random system or smthing. The plot is also decent, although nothing special. On the flip-side, you really shouldn't expect anything in terms of character development. The MC is logical, can be ruthless when needed but is also kind to his friends, etc, from day one, and it never changes. On the other hand, everyone else is just a side-character that gets a few dominant traits and that's it. Plus, half the novel is devoted to the MC face-slapping idiotic young masters, especially the beginning of the novel. Oh yeah, and there's no romance.
Overall, I'd call it a mediocre version of Reverend Insanity, which is quite good considering the fact that RI is my favorite novel ever.
It's a good read if you can get past its flaws but for me its getting harder and harder to read because of those flaws.
1. In every arc there always seems to be some stupid people that always want to be slapped in the face by the MC for underestimating him. This ALWAYS happens that it feels repetitive and recycled. Even in later chapters, the same kind of stupid people keeps appearing. And the same scenarios keep happening that I find it to be annoying rather than interesting.
2. Some arc (especially the one I'm reading right now Ch. 600+. I forget where it started) just takes too long to finish. There is always one fight after another after another that it also feels repetitive. I'm not against action scenes but one fight after the other while the story goes to a crawl is just fillers for me.
3. There is too many unsolved stuff even from the start of the novel that you keep waiting when the story will get to it. And be disappointed that after 500+ chapters the mysteries are still there and it will gnaw on your consciousness while you force yourself to read because you already started and maybe, just maybe there will be light at the end of the tunnel... But alas, only darkness as far as the eye can see... (Or maybe the Author really did forget about all of those >.<)
4. THERE IS A LACK OF WOMEN CHARACTERS!!! I mean for a novel that is targeted to males to have lack of women characters is just painful to read. There is clearly a bias on women in this novel as there is only a pitiful amount of them. While I don't mind the lack of romance at least put some flowers here and there in the novel so that I wouldn't think that i'm reading a BL(Boys Love) novel...
This novel feels like its made up of fillers. At the start, its still ok as the story progress is still moving at an average pace. But when you get to the middle chapters it gets longer and longer to get through the arcs. In conclusion, if you don't want to read a story but like to read about lots of fights and face smacking then this is for you, otherwise if you are someone like me who loves the story and doesn't care much about fight scenes then stay away. This is definitely not recommended for our kind of readers.
Translation Quality - Excellent

Story Development - Abyssmal
Character Design - OK
World Background - Has potential
Personal Rating = 2.5 stars
Its really wordy. Some points are repeated many times making it a bit hard to read. The world building is very good. Thanks to that, there aren't any things that happen that are questionable (up to where I've read).
ok let me start by saying the prems of the stury is fun, love the magic system, and how the authur clerfys it, story and events are not bad eather, makes me want to keep reading, even tho there are soo many frustratangly annyoing things about how the story is wretin.
now for the bad, this story is so frustrating, by that i mean the auther way of saying things. let me give u an example. the mc is looking at a water fall that doesnt flow down but up. it would be sufficent to say wow amazing how could it flow up. but the auther dosnt stop there, ohh no. he mentions that its amazing, how. ill tell u. ohh this water fall is amazing it flows up word, how could it be, u see reader water falls come down, the water from the reiver flows thro the river which has fish, it comes to a lower point and drops creating a shower like effect because the ground is lowrr, the water fall falls down, what an amazing thing its flowing up woord, how can this be, what a stupindes phnominon. just like in the 3rd dynesty of asshurt kingom an amzaing water glass couldnt never let water in or out. u must be amazed bc this water fall should be amazing bc water fall should go down the river itself should gow down stream, so how come the water is going up the water fall.
sorry but thats how it seemed to me, and this goes on for sometimes chapters on end never endings. for example the mc wants to make a magicartifact, and the maker doesnt know what he wants specifacly so he is asked to go into the lab amd explain it to them. this scene goes on for at least 10-15 chapters why, bc he enters the lab the first person asks him how is he behind the employ line, and that person procedes to have an inner monologe for a whole chapter and comes up with the theory that this guys an assaisen, b4 the mc can say that he is the clinet and wants to help, whic breaks into a fight for life and death, after that he is challanged to show the alchemest he knows what he is asking them to do is actully possible for another 5 chapters. bc everone in the room doubts him, then are stupified by him. where all that had to hapoen is him walk into the room and hand all these ppl a fourmula. thats it, move on.
again i love some parts of the story, but i drop it after reading about 30 chapters then come back to it bc there isnt anything better to read at the moment. so read at your own risk. bc i have a feeling the way its wrten it assumes, that everyone thats reading is really stupied.
