Am on chapter 11. Alright, so the premise seemed fairly interesting at first, what with the cool, cold lady MC (who's actually kind of an otaku) transmigrating into the body of a canon fodder villain and all. The world-building is very good and interesting and provides lots of background information to better understand what's going on in the story. Reading it, however, is actually a bit different. There are some grammatical errors, but those could be overlooked if you're tolerant. The writing itself is somewhat choppy, but again, it can be overlooked. The problem mainly lies within the characters and the pacing of the story. The characters, the main character and the male lead, might seem fine at first, bit their interactions... I don't know, seems a bit false, but that might just be the very fast pacing. Their relationship develops rather quickly, and affection quickly builds even though they are effectively strangers who just decided to have sex together. My point of confusion lies mainly with the male lead, who should be far more wary and far less affectionate with someone who he thought to be scum. Another thing that is a bit weird is how OP the main character is. And how irrelevant his/her OPness seems to be. For example, it's mentioned that (s)he has sets of legendary creatures like phoenixes and dragons, but they don't really do anything expect be a point of gossip for random passersby. The yin constitution that the MC has just seems to be an excuse for him/her perform dual cultivation with the ML in their first meeting. HOWEVER! Please keep in mind I didn't actually read that far in the story, so these points (and possibly others) could actually become relevant. So basically, if you want an easy, fun read w/ some grammatical errors, this is for you! It's BL, it already has some smut, has good world-building, and has an OP couple! A thing I liked was how the MC brought his/her modern/futuristic knowledge to the past and improved the state of life there. But if you want a serious read with development that makes sense, maybe look elsewhere. But please, give it a try and make your own judgment on it; don't think my review defines the entire story.
