An old friend reveals their powers to the public, then the world undergoes a dramatic change. The rise of the 'Awakened' humans with abilities and powers emerges, yet with this new reality another bombshell is dropped when their world is attacked.

A planar invasion occurs by what are called the 'Outworlders', a general term used for alien species. Will he successfully defend his home-world? Will he finally embrace what he has become and take the fight to the Outworlders?
