Reading about 250 chapters of the 280 available at the time of me writing this, I think this is a very well thought out novel. It's got it's fair share of issues, such as the amount of typos in the novel generally attributed to the lack of understanding of English of the author (which is quite prevalent in the beginning of the novel) and some of the really reckless things the main character does. The letter of which can generally be explained by his age and general recklessness that he seems to have. This novel also suffers from two more issues, a very long prologue (and weirdly enough) incredibly long chapters. I hope anyone who does decide to read the novel can bear through the former as it does explain a lot about the world and at the end, does help fleshing out the world and the conditions and motivations of the people living in it. And well, the second issue... is quite weird, people usually long for long chapters to read in every novel they read... and this novel does just that and maybe overdoes it by a fair amount, which might actually cause someone to be lost in the chapter while reading them. It happened to me multiple times while I was reading but it didn't exactly affect my motivation to read I can't guarantee it will for you. There's a lot of thing this novel does right, character interactions and character behaviors being one of the few. I've never seen any of the children act like adults in this novel which is a huge plus for me. I can't even count how many times I've seen children either act like adults or like braindead people in other novel. The story itself is pretty interesting with the author obviously borrowing stuff from the eastern fantasy while adding his own unique style and ideas in it to make it different enough for me to not mind. And, this novel ain't premium... So... thank you author. TLDR, if you don't mind long novels and have a bunch of time to spend... Give this one a try, it's free to read all the way and better thought out and realized than most of the novels out there.

An excellent novel that deserves more praise then I can give in 140 characters but to say that it is written well and flows nicely. Characters have growth and have disticnt personalities. Author has done a good job creating a unquie world and I am happy to continue this adventure

I've been following this story for a while and it's amazing. I'm always waiting for the next chapter. Pros Great world, good character development, regular updates. Cons There is some odd word usage in some places but it's still definitely readable. An English speaking proofreader would definitely help but the grammar issues have still been getting less and less as time goes by.

This story is the story that introduced me to the Xianxia genre and is written better than most of the popular Chinese translated stories. I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to start on web novels to give it a read.
