The plot is so tiring and non exciting The MC takes appears to be conflicted and confused of his present and past identities. Though the plot is new but is sure is tiring and the story is focused on the dark theme i felt the author forced the dark theme.

I'm usually not one to write reviews. I tend to leave that to those better at it then me. But seeing how competive Webnovel is and how much i have enjoyed reading this novel i felt i should. Its well written and much better edited then some above it in the rankings . I found the characters enjoyable and much more fleshed out then other webnovels. World building is solid. Plenty of comedy and laughs once you get through the earlier "darker" chapters. Thou in my opinion there are plenty of dark tones in the later chapters just pushed in the shadows because of the amount of laughs and lighter moments. Anyways enough of my structureless rambling. Give it a shot read through the free chapters drop a power stone if you liked what you read. The best judge of if you will enjoy it is you.

I have already written a review for exp, but in all seriousness, read this book. The writing quality is insane, and as an author myself, I appreciate the effort and enthusiasm. If I could, I’d buy this book a Houston’s times over. It’s pretty damn smooth and it has a humor to it like no other. It’s very original in my opinion, and has stable updates.

Good story. The story is nicely paced and the development of the story is interesting. I am really looking forward to read more!!!!!!! Please do continue writing....

It is an interesting story but continuous change in POVs confuses a lot, not allowing to have a very fluid story reading. On a personal side note, the character seems way more emotionally sensitive for a war vet as well as assassin trainee rather than being more rational/pragmatic. This is my personal take on the story and not a general opinion.

Pretty good, except the MC hasn't done anything noteworthy yet as of chapter 54. He says he will use it but then he always limits his achievements or just not get to do it because he gets "help" at just the right time. Now I understand why he isn't fighting 24/7 and is just laying low but even still, he knows he is not that strong so as to raise eyebrows from those truly high up nor do they care so why would he continue to do so? Besides that, no one talks or even thinks like a real person, the side characters are pretty memorable but that's about it, they are given one trait and then just takes it to the extreme, ex. loli gets saved by MC in a tavern and within like 10 seconds she(questionable gender) kisses him in front of everyone as repayment. Like, wtf women? I understand falling for someone but just kissing them out of nowhere? Just, no. Anyways english is good. 10/10 would review again cheers mate.

Otherwise, I don't think there is anything wrong with the story since Qidian offered him/her a contract and as a reader, I like the story. I like the story, it's well written grammatically speaking. I just feel it goes straight to the point all the time. No development in between. Like this.. happenned and the that.... . It's too straight to the point, where a bit of twists and turns could make the story more enjoyable, and not like reading a list if events. The chronological placement of events is not bad, but again too narrow and straight narrative makes me feel that the story is too constricted. It doesn't seem like the character has got any choice, it's pretty obvious that all had been decided. But overall it's a great idea,and very well thought. I would love to follow it when it's more put together

I’m just gonna be straight forward and say that compared to the other Original Webnovels on this site, this is probably one you shouldn’t waste your time on. Don’t waste your Spirit Stones on this, it’s very incoherent and just overall an absolute mess of a novel. If this author writes another work, I hope it’ll be MUCH better than what this is.

I love how most of the reviews on this story is because people are mad at the staff for deleting their comments. Anyway, the story is ok, the writing quality as in creative ways to describe things could be improved. The Character's personality changes far too drastically after chapter 30, so I'd recommend you edit the story so the characters personality shows a steady change instead of an "His personality changed, sorry!". Timeskips are good but not when there's too many as this story has. Last but not least the world background is actually pretty decent but could be improved by adding more details on the history of the world.

Overall if not read carefully readers might miss out on the vast majority of details however this kind of story building is needed to make characters who has more complex motivations and end goals. I think that more stories need to follow this kind of careful development to avoid the typical brainless killers and pointless face slapping.

And emo, it actually kills. He legit wallows in self pity and doesn't do crap even tho he's a legendary mage. Oh, he is also cheated on TWICE. I can't sympathise with any of the characters. Too many POV changes that don't add to the story. Story development...*sigh* 30+ chapters in and where is the 'demon' he is supposed to contract? It's in the title and summary! Feels like even author doesn't know where the story is going. Also, so many semicolons. Everywhere. I'm pretty sure I saw 3 semicolons in ONE sentence early on and it's bad. Pls re-edit. Stability of updates is good. Would have been a good story, but too many things make you feel annoyed until at the end you just flip the table.

well if i gotta say one thing about this book it's that it's worth a read.The story so far has been great .I'm really looking forward to how this is gonna develop .The is damn good with how he's developed each character and how he brings their emotions across .He writes the book in terms of multiple perspectives so far it's been a good read.Don't be bothered by the bad reviews too much,just read and you'll weather you like it .But i think it's a great book so far

As for this story, I think its very enjoyable. I also have found it very sad so far, our poor tragic MC. No luck with girls, though I secretly hope it turns BL. Hahahaha. Though thats not everyones cup of tea. It has the reincarnation, and keeping past life memories, sadly it doesnt seem to be a time rewindal ones, it doesnt seem like the dead can ever truly come back to life. The writing is really good, and even if it actually had bad writing I truly couldn't tell it apart after reading this story, its just too enjoyable. Though on the subject of writing quality sometimes I feel the plotline jump a bit, though if you reread the chapter things will make sense, and even reading a bit slower. The stability of updates so far is consistent, I give top marks fo this since I love gettin bonus chapters and we've been getting them. Though kind of oiffed I thought author was going to give us 2 chapters today the 5th of November 2018, but well it was an authors note, some people gsve bad reviews, so shame to those trash talkers. Though maybe they are just trashing the book because its so enjoyable, a black hat reviewer, they talk trash only because they really love the book, they give low rating so the autho certainly reads there review and maybe reply, I read a book like that once. The story development is mostly smooth, I mentioned earlierinthe story development thst i felt the chspters skip parts, it could be the writing or how the book develops, but well sometimes things jump suddenly, in one of the recent chapters, one of the characters, from the description got castrated, but due to how it was written I thought a certsin character was trying to castrate our MC. *reader went pale* it was only then that I re read the chapter before i understood it was talkin about Sharon, and not MC. Also the first chapter and the seemed to be in the future, whereas the following chapters seemed in the past, I'm somewhat cinfused about our timeline, but I think I've got the gist of it, though it would be helpful if author could clarify the timeline perhaps. Of main events. And the story development isnt an info dump, though sometimes I wish there was more informstion, though I reckon this information will be provided later on to build the story and world, and if its so early it would be a mere spoiler, just blame me for wanting to read it all at once. The character design is very good, though I can't help but dislike some characters and I am a bit annoyed at some character interaction, but the characters are developing as the story goes on. Hence I'm giving full marks for the character designs, as for if the characters are worthy of it, it will depend on how our characters develop. The world background i give 4 stars, so to say there sre mutliple worlds, its more like a universe background, but its very confusing at some parts, I think it could be explained better, but resders hsve an understsnding of the world background. I'm looking forward to how that develops, I think it would only get better as th story goes on, but 4 stsrs due to my frustration. For newcomers who are unsure whether to read this book or not, I think its totally worth your time, give 10 chapters a try, if your not hooked then let the fish go, i found the chapters a bit confusing at first, bu everything eventually flows, its like a puzzle. The book has some epic OPness, tragic love, death of loved ones, betrayal, Orphan MC so potential for an epic OP backstory, reincarnation, darkness of the world, a bit naivity, and penguin cuteness, Good Looking op MC, Magic, a bit rpg like with professions, legendary weapons, technology advancment, mystery, very evil characters and a half good half evil mc.

POV is okay. I love POV, but when POV is everything. It’s kind of hard to follow. Plus, it’s not necessary. Plot was interesting. Please keep the good work!

Good webnovel that keeps you wanting to read on and on. Storywise it starts off slow but picks up and really draws you in. Good thing it updates really fast! I didn't like the character at first but he slowly grew on me, and the world and system is quite interesting. Also, you will usually find plenty of bad grammar and typos in webnovels but this has barely any. Highly recommend reading this.
