This story is fun. Alger is not too OP and the premise of the various world elements are fantastic. The transmigration flavor sans actual transmigration is brilliant. I am still hopeful this story will be picked up for translation again; the updates were stable up into the very start of the pandemic and then - poof. I want to thank the translator and extend well wishes for good health.

Surprisingly good novel overall with impressive thriller and astounding events, highly detailed world background and magic system that are slowly expored every chapter. A good interaction between characters and their environment, organizations and madness of wizard world. A good view of mc daily life and reactions with wizards and how it affects him especially while he's still a kid.

I'm continuing this on an mtl site so it's passed 2000 chaps there. There are some boring chapters and arcs here and there but I like that author doing new things and creative at that. The lore is very interesting and the fact that mc actively creates his own worldbuilding is fun too

Honestly I already wrote a review of this novel, but I can't find and delete it anymore so I'm just gonna write another one. The translation is really well done. Perfect grammar and very faithful to the original. Stability of updates was good until it was dropped, which isn't really the TL's fault anyway, but I'm salty. Story is slow af. I'm not kidding. Otherwise, it's not too bad. Characters are not too bad imo Tons of world details = well done world, slow story.

The translation for this novel is done quite well. The story is great, even after 1028 chapters it doesn’t get repetetive or tiresome, the character design is great and the world creation is fabulous. I just wish that the translation would resume for this novel. Please keep translating. Pretty please.

I really like this story. it takes a longer slower route then some people like but the characters and story are more flushed out then a lot of others. There is no screaming "you dare", "bow to this young master", or "your courting death" every other chapter.

You know man I'm having a hard time understanding why this series is so praised, I've read 2200+ chapters (mtl) and I can say w confidence that this series is at best average. Why? Well mate, let me tell you, it doesn't have a unique universe and premise like Daoist GU, the universe in which this series happens is your average Warlock of the Magus World like universe w a bit of D&D, with all of their tropes, even more, this series is nowhere near as satisfying or entertaining as WOTMW. The MC is boring, the series is overfilled with fillers, you know I never disliked fillers as I can understand to some extent why they exist but here we are overwhelmed by them like there are a hundred chapters of worthless filler. The MC is well, very bland and boring like he isn't anything special or noteworthy, you probably have seen a few other MC just like this one in some other series. My biggest problem w this series is by far is progression like it's so fkin slow, it's even slower than e frikin snail. This world supposedly has 7-8 ranks (not taking into consideration the additional apprentice realm, every magus starts from here) that we know of (it most likely has more), now let me ask you, how many chapters do you think it takes the MC to reach the magus realm, yes the first realm, the realm after apprentice realm? Did you say 300? Maybe 500, even 1000? NO, YOU ARE WRONG IT TOOK FKIN 2000 CHAPTERS FOR THE MC TO REACH RANK 1 MAGUS, AND THERE ARE AT LEAST 7 REALMS, 2000 FKIN CHAPTERS, and I'll let you know that your average web novel series has somewhere between 1000-2000 chapters, now can you understand just how bad the power progression is? You might think maybe he has some special skills that let him as a rank 1 magus to defeat those above him, but no you are wrong, the MC can't even beat a rank 2 magus. Yeah, 2k chapters and this is where we got, this is even more frustrating when the MC is surrounded and used by rank 2+ magus. So yeah, this series was decent at the beginning, I'm someone who doesn't mind slow development, Daoist Gu is the best example, it was somewhat slow at the beginning but in the end, it became insanely good, but here the author overdid it to such an extent where he broke the series... Like it took the MC 2k chapters to reach rank 1, then many how chapters it will take for him to reach rank 9, tens of thousands of chapters? So yeah in the end I would honestly never recommend this to anyone, it's way way way too slow placed and very unsatisfying, you would expect some mind-blowing story w so much development, but no we get none of that, it's just your average human mortal in his very slow journey to the apex.

This is dam good! The pcing and the sotrylinr is something i like. Basically mc teacher is from future earth whom has given uim a Super computer to use With it he cheats in the world of magic. Add in his op nightmare relm linked magic. I love the characters like sunders and greya. A lot of things imaginative atugf going on thx to the noghtmare realm portion n mage world. i can see this as an anime.

Warlock Apprentice is a wonderful slow burn of a read. It has mysteries that go on a long time, but with enough bread crumbs sprinkled in that you believe the author will answer the questions brought up with time. You have a protagonist that is overpowered for his level but underpowered for the world around him, at least with where we left off. There are multiple plots always moving at the snails pace of the story, like a glacier slowly moving down a valley. This makes the story grand and majestic in it's scope. It might move slowly but it will run over the entire valley in the end. I hope the translator will come back to this one because I don't know the language it's originally written in and I can't stand the Microsoft translate version, it doesn't do the story justice.

One of best mystery novel I have ever read. There is always a feeling of mystery while reading. If there is anything to take fault with is its extremely slow story-line progress and slow update. Very recommended for people who like to binge read.

Personally I loved the story. op isn't crazy op or gains incredible powers every 10 chapters. a bit of a slow development with ops powers. plot moves a bit slow but the in-between and small stuff are fun to read. However it seems the author or translator has dropped it. full month of no releases or news. gg I loved this book

are you going to release more chapters if you are on a break it would be nice for you to tell us so we don't think you have just stopped writing

I would give this a 5star for update rate but there has been n o update for the past like month unfortunately. the story Takes it’s time and leaves nothing out i like the pace. 1000 chapters in and is Still an apprentice 3rd stage.
