Its a good story so far, although the meat of the story has not reached yet. The relationship background is relevant for the reader to understand some things about it and the thought/emotions for the key players. If you are one who read Little Miss Devil: the Mischievous Wife. This to me is the sequel set in the future on certain charactes. I refuse to give out spoilers on it but suggest that you read that novel to under the relationship links in spite of that you will not be disappointed. Make sure you have enough SS, its not anywhere else so be prepared for that and any of this author's work. They have to eat and you got to respect that especially when you are enjoying their work. Let's get back to this novel, to me its really about 2FLs, what I'm reading about is the 1st FL who is likely to have a tragic end and the 2nd FL who will make her introduction fully in the story shortly. The ML is someone from LMD as well as other characters, but it seems that he has been in love with 1st FL and best friend for years but because she was married, he did not encroach on the relationship. He's really a good man. I'll stop here , but note that there are a few similiarities which makes you aware of the author's writing style. This book will stay in my library. I just have to be smart about my SS.

although this book is not a long story, it was contained many twists to the characters. I love how the characters were portrayed and how the emotions were very strong. this book was well written. looking forward to read your other titles.

Too much repeat back ground and the female was too weak without a backbone. It was like she was waiting for a clue. I hated her character.

Am so GLAD Chuntao found her peace at last. The novel is absolutely fantastic and the characters design are expectional story development excellent. From the beginning with the broke madam Shen to the recovery madam Shen Chuntao. Kudos to the author 👌👌👌👌

Honestly, this novel broke my heart. I can't stop myself from crying 😭. This is beautifully written. I feel for the characters and their pain. Poor Ying! I was bawling my eyes out because of this novel my partner was pissed at me questioning why I spent money to buy coins to read novel that makes me sad but I just cannot seem to stop!!!

Warning: this story is a tearjerker. So keep a box of tissues at hand. Regardless of the amount of tears I shed while reading this, I still would recommend it. It's well written and the story flows so well.
