Hello! Just thought I'd give a quick introduction of myself. I'm DaoistZenFeng, this is the very first novel I've written and I'm hoping to learn a lot on this long journey I feel I have ahead. This story is about reincarnation, though with a bit of a twist. Usually it's some modern person reincarnating into the fantasy world, but this time its a cultivator who reached the apex reincarnating into a modern world to well... Play a VRMMORPG video game! Hahaha, so join me on this crazy adventure as Izroth adapts to the modern world and becomes the best gamer in the world! P.S. I plan on starting off with 1-2 chapters a day but my current goal is to eventually try to do at least 7-14 chapters a week total for now.

If you stop writing this novel, I'll come and find you and torture you till you start writing again, do you hear me @DaoistZenFeng? don't test my patience lol, just kidding, the story is good and I like it, don't drop it.

This is the first time I have ever did a review for novel. In my opinion this novel is really refreshing. It doesn’t have those side characters where you bump into them and they automatically want to kill you and your whole family. There is really isn’t any plot armor where the main character finds some stupidly overpowered item at the start of the game. Unlike most other main characters that get transported from another world he actually uses his knowledge from his old world. He is not afraid of others and doesn’t hide his powers like every other main character from almost any novel. Too top it all off, he is never afraid of a challenge. Now there are a few cliche moments made by the side characters but, it’s never a constantly reacuring thing in the novel. The author keeps improving the unrealistic moments in the novel and does so at a very rapid pace. Plus the author is willing to listen to the readers and improve on his work so the story only gets better as time goes by. I recommend reading the novel up too chapter 30 before deciding whether to drop it or not. I am pretty sure that once you read it too there you will be hooked. I have also noticed a lot of the other reviews about this novel and have got to say that you can tell they have not read a whole lot of the novel. So take it from someone that has read the novel up to the latest chapter and, has read way too many other novels, make sure that the people you listen too has at the very least read half of it. After all that’s what the reviews are for. So that the people that have read most of it can give their opinions on the novel so that new people can develope a basic idea on what the novel is going to be like.

Story is okay, the premise kinda makes me feel that the protagonist deserved being dumped dude couldn't hold a job lives with his mother how in the world does he think its acceptable for his girlfriend to put up with him lol.

Most characters are arrogant with fickle ego that when they are insulted by the MC, the MC suddenly becomes their sworn enemies and they all speak of paying the humiliation done to them. The dialogues are becoming cringe-y for me that I had to skip some sentences because of it.

My one problem with this novel is the pride, arrogance, saving face, humiliation and the likes is so heavy that most dialogues by MC's enemies are recyclable or reoccurring. Arrogant enemies show up, they trashtalks MC, MC talks back, enemies feel humiliated, enemies become MC's mortal enemy, MC kills them.

I like this story, just waiting for more updates?

Another reviewer pointed out how everyone acts like they're in a xianxia story. This is close to the mark. I think it's more accurate to say that everyone acts like a character in a story. Nobody is written as a believable person except perhaps Luna. MC is stereotypical cultivator MC, mom is stereotypical super crazy mom weak variant(as opposed to strong variant like in this young master is not cannon fodder), tank is stereotypical manly friend and other guy is basically the same character, archer is stereotypical book worm, she has a stereotypical siscon sister, and mage is a ladyboy magic nerd. The villains are not any better. The plots are not much better since the very stereotypical characters drive a lot of the plot. This is obviously a very stereotypical story. It's just done better than most to the point that it manages to escape the trash pile so far. So a good trashy story.

At first I really liked this novel, but there a delay of months between each chapter. I don't have the patience to wait that long for one or two chapters. I'm abandoning this novel completely.

I’ve been keeping up with this novel for a year or two now, and I have got to say, it easily takes the number 1 spot for me, the characters are all likeable, and each of them have their own little story and background, there are enough mysteries to leave you excited for more, and the MC was done brilliantly especially in the second half of the story where the author becomes more experienced in writing, but if there’s one thing that really pains me the most is the fact that the stability of the updates is not consistent. I stopped reading this for a year, hoping to get 300+ chapters since I really love this novel, turns out I just got 100 chapters, and the last uploaded non privileged chapter was over 3 months ago, which really saddens me since I don’t think the author realises how much potential this novel has and how quickly others get attached to it, im always rooting for the author, if he has health problems or just doesn’t have time to upload, thats completely fine with me, I’d just like a post giving some reasoning as to why.

Honestly one of the best VRMMORPG reincarnated stories here....but OMG the Author's ability to give stable updates leaves something to be desired. Current chapter is 1058 which was released 25 days ago, the last readable chapter1038 (w/o going into membership mode), was released 4 months ago, and there have been cases where chapters don't start resuming until 6-10 months go by ughh....On top of that since chapter 496 we've been reading about the same world war event in the game and honestly after 600+ chapters its getting old and it doesn't seem like it'll end anytime soon...Idk what the Authors expectation for this story is but I can easily see this story being a 4-5K chapter story ( I just hope the Author doesn't give up and stop at 2k, or now at 1058 seeing as they are unreliable with updates). Overall, The characters are great, the skills are unique and pretty cool, Izroth definitely has a sensual relationship with the Goddess of Luck, and I'm looking forward to see where things go. ***I know I complained about the update stability, but there is a reason for that. I read this book till the latest chapter (early 400s when he is in the Commanders Fairy domain), and went off to read other books thinking after some time there would be more chapters. Two years later there is barely even double the amount of chapters, An when compared to other titles that came out roughly the same time as this are approaching the 2K or midpoint of the story line, you start to question "is this a story I want to invest my time into, where given the current timeline it could be 10+ years or so before the story reaches conclusion?"...I mean it's like waiting for a new game console but instead of the release date being pushed back, they release one piece of the console at a time over the span of 12 years :(

Stupid novel from the get go. The MC first thing created OP skills then farmed a world boss and other bosses as well as cleared first dungeon yet after all of this his lvl is low compared to everyone else who do nothing but stay in the city looking to pk. Author artificially boosts everyone's lvl so the mc who supposedly did all these things will never catch up even tho he should be way above everyone's lvl. Also, MC is a retard. The story is inconsistent from one chapter to the next.

Transmigrating into a video game was bad enough, this quirky new version is even worse. So many plot holes, the pacing is glacial. But, I guess it's my own fault for giving a video game novel a chance in the first place. The single worst novel genre of the 21st century. I don't understand the unbelievably bloated ratings on this novel.

This is a fascinating work although it focuses heavily on action . Creating a whole new world of mysteries and deep connecting plots is a true mark of a novelist. I seriously hope you don't abandon this story and continue writing because all your readers will be willing to read this novel to the end.

A very cool idea, but execution is just bad, I just had to read 3-4 chapters of random starter characters fighting and scheming on each other, like why am I even supposed to care, main character obviously just saves the day, and everyone is so shocked😱, even the main character class is so stupid, it's basically a public class, that is only meant for the main character, there are no obtaining requirements. The story might get better later on, but It's got boring to the point of me skipping whole chapters, no thank you

i like this novel but its getting increasingly hard to read, mc out here killing bosses left and right and not leveling up. i get it requires alot of xp but these are freaking bosses and he monopolizing most of if not all the xp. kinda feels like the novel is losing the game elements.

I love eve about this book the characters are fun and I like the ideas and power system. I did have a question for the author in which would he ever make another novel but as opposed to swords and cultivation it would be more like a reincarnated wizard plays a be game? I know it would probably have the same beat as this story but I would love a version that delves more into magic

This is my first serious review, and even if I know the the author probably wont'tread that I just wanted to say that this is my favourite novel and to keep going!

One of the best novels of this genre. Similar to RSSG, but a lot better and way more consistent story. For anyone needing good gramma, this novel has that, no mistakes that would bug you. Worldbackground is constantly neing built the more he explores. The only sad thing for me is i think story/events move a bit slowly and for me would be preffered some faster pace in some of them, but thats just for me personally.
