Not for nothing, but S tank hero or not, the US gov would have recorded that conversation no matter what, especially seeing how the bad guy is not naturally born citizen. As soon as they reviewed the recoding with a different interpreter they should realize that he isn’t a monster and that the bad guy threatened his son.
But somehow I think the author is going to have massive plot holes on this .
Jin-Woo: Daddy? Is that you?
Il-Hwan: Yes son, it is me... Sorry, I got bodied in a dungeon. How's life?
Jin-Woo: Oh you know...same o'l stuff. Wanna go in a dungeon with me? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Il-Hwan: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I really don't like the fact that he wanted to fight so bad as to label some dude a monster with zero information, but I guess that is his character after all.
Haha. I wish there debuff potion like that in the real world.. get drunk with friend then before going home (gulp, gulp) <refresh> no hang over!! Hahaha
I'm sure that only the S-rank could have done the interview because of security, but that doesn't mean that there couldn't have been more people around who understood Korean. . .
Didn’t really understand the point of needing an S ranker to interview or needing to be able to speak the same language. Since can’t they talk to him from a speaker while they stay in another room. They can have a translator and the S rank Hunter is just there for safety. That seems closer to what the official process would be like and there is so many more options I can think of that would work better. Also they should have heard the guy ask Dong-Su why he had murderous intent when mentioning his son plus turning the mic off is suspicious. The whole situation felt too noticeably forced in my opinion.
