I think it is a terrible idea to sell that bead... Especially considering he likely has a target painted on his back. You would think he would learn after being attacked already multiple times by hunters. Hell if the first magic wielder he faced had that bead...the story would have been pretty short.

The manager should have had a bite for himself or something to not just rely on his memory.
