Jesus these ungrateful readers are ruining the novel for me. How the hell is it the translator’s fault for not translating 137 chapters in 1 day?
“Oh just start where they left off” or “Why not release it all at once.”
A. If they just started where they left off, the new translator wouldn’t have any experience or deep bond with the story
B. You’re asking a dude to translate 13 chapters without recognition? That means he can’t take advice, can’t communicate with the audience, or even be proud of his work. They’d or quit on the 20th chapter, though, that’s probably a better outcome than this one, translating 120+ chapters of a novel THEY enjoyed enough to SHARE with people like you, only to get cancerous feedback EVERY CHAPTER. I’m proud of the translator, for not quitting. He’s a human, ya’ll are monsters waiting to pounce on human weakness
You know I see alot of comments that the gist of is basically "How dare they legally acquire the rights to this story and make us properly pay to read the story and telling the people breaking copyright laws to stop translating the novel illegally."
