Hello everyone, I am finally reviewing this work of mine for the first time ever after 462 chapters! *Caresses his beard in utmost seriousness* Before anything, let me give you a short version of what you will be getting yourself into: Think of Virus (MC) as Pinocchio, only, instead of a doll, he’s an extremely advanced artificial intelligence who coincidentally jumps back in time to our current Earth. Anyway, the Pinocchio of our story who had been just an artificial boy his entire life enters a biological body, thus becoming a real boy! Now, the real boy of our story together with futuristic knowledge at his beck and call starts cultivation while actually utilizing that very knowledge of science and technology. However, now that he’s a real boy, he starts experiencing problems and issues he never thought were possible. As you read into the story, the world will get bigger and bigger as unexpected developments, both small and large, will take you by surprise and leave you flabbergasted. +++++ If you ask me, is [The God Virus] worth my time and more? I can only say try it and decide for yourself, don’t let my or anyone else’s bias affect you. Still, if you did indeed decide to give it a shot, persist through some of the pre-cultivation slow burn and neophyte writing at the earlier chapters and get to the real cultivation stuff and you’ll see what you had nearly missed. +++++ Some of the things you can expect to see in the story: 1. Cultivation is extremely unique, I don’t just randomly add stage names and say he gathered even more energy this time or whatnot and broke through from the first level to the second level, then from the second level to the third level, and so on! There is a specific system of cultivation that will make you enjoy immersing yourself in the process as you get to the real cultivation stuff! 2. Virus is very smart in brain matters, an extremely intelligent anti-hero main character that doesn’t fear destroying all those hindering his path if he wants to, I say this with confidence and you will agree unless you forget what Virus’ main goal in living and the core of his personality is at each specific point in the story. 3. The writing quality increases as you advance, you will feel the writing quality leveling up the more you read into the story. However, even in the earlier chapters, you won’t have any difficulties understanding the sentences, they flow smooth enough, only that the writing quality may be lower comparatively. 4. Let’s get this out of the window as well, Virus is no saint, he’s not selfless, I mean he’s named Virus for God's sake, did you expect him to be like Mother Teresa? *Flings aside his white beard violently* 5. Yes, there’s a deep romance happening, but it won’t be the main focus of the story. 6. There is so much more I can say, but why should I say it when you can read it and decide for yourself? Anyway, if my brief introduction hooked you, then I guess you’re in the right place.

i made it like half way through chapter 1 and already couldn't tolerate this stain, the entire concept is so backwards and poorly developed i can't tell if it's intentional or translated so poorly that it got flipped on its head. a civilisation of godlike beings ascended so far they were the first to break through the multiverse, omnipotence and omnipresence are literal insults to how brokenly powerful these beings are. through the use of all their divine power they search the multiverse for "something", it's not specified what that is but that could be because what do you even do after becoming gods, there's nothing left to find. they come across some primitive society on a backwater planet that still fights with sticks and dance moves (cultivators) and when they see a group of their own species acting so unintelligent and uncivilised in the pursuit of nonsense "power" instead of scientific endeavours our gods react by..... reverence? at this point the novel literally flips on it head. everything written so far becomes nullified and suddenly the empire wants their cultivation techniques, why? I guess because they've never learned how to swing a sword? perhaps that information was so many millions of years in their history that they forgot it even existed so they were confused? we literally don't know. everything was reset, all the previous information literally meant nothing and now it's about cultivation for some reason. this felt like an elaborate version of clickbait

I love Virus. He's so cool and controlling. The only problem I have with him is his behavior to the Four ugliest. He treats the like trash and it pain me whenever they are called ugly. The only other thing I dislike or should I say hat about this story is Belle(Golden beauty). I oate her sooooo much. Even if she's protecting virus, I still won't like her. In fact, I'll be happy that she got injured. I hate her jovial character, her attitude towards the uglies(its so infuriating) and lastly her curious nature. It's so annoying when she asks questions all the time. Virus would be pondering about something important and she'll come and ask questions. He'll just finish working on something and she'll ask questions. The questions are killing.Well that's my review of this book. FYI I've read the entire book 3 times and I'm reading it for the forth time. Which means I'll have to be tormented by questions again.

please keep this book going! This is the best thing I have ever read! I have read absolutely everything! Maybe I need to donate so you can continue the story? I can, just keep creating chapters of this best book ever!

is this novel giving up

Too many words can't explain how fantastic and fascinating this book is. Almost Everything is on point. Wish Madreader could bring more Sci-Fi novels. However, updates are keeping long but I know it's better for more development and perfecting this work 😍😍.

literally just started reading and I already love the concept of this story and was willing to read it out until I realized that the last time this author posted a chapter was half a year ago. :( so sad

Trash. 1 star. Mc is sexist, against his own creations/side/everything. The story is pretty trash, with unscientific terms all around. Nothing makes sense+there are contradictions everywhere. Don't read, waste of time.

The peak of sexism here. Normally I wouldnt mind a little bit sexism but this author just took things to a whole another level. And why would a super ai would want to have a family? This story feels like it is written by a Chinese author.

I’m not sure how good this novel is, but just by reading the first chapter is giving unlimited plot holes. It just doesn’ t make any sense, it’s like you are disregard normal logic and common sense how things work.

it's annoying. author always deliberately puts cliff hangers too many times in one chapters. once or twice it would have been good but now whole chapter is filled with 10% of actual content and 90% of rubbish. it's not entertaining anymore it's annoying now. I am at 200+ chapters but he is still paying foundations and have not started cultivating and author is not gonna tell us how many stages are there in it so it will just keep going. he could have made it so much better but just to increase the word count he is stretching the story.

A very unique novel, with SciFi and cultivation, a must read to anyone who is tierd and bored of novels with the usual tropes of young masters and Jade beauties that are destined to be forgotten and are irrevant to the story line.

Very good start. It begins very nicely with the MC being smart, rational, and the logic being consistent. Then, despite being an AI supercomputer, he doesnt even know things that should be obvious. He has access to databases of knowedge on humans, yet is surprised when they retaliate to insults. It was tolerable, but then it became even more hectic and I eventually had to drop it to save my sanity.

This novel has good language quality ,world building and concept but the Plot, MC's development i.e. him becoming more and more stupid as time goes on and not preparing for things to the utmost of his abilities makes this novel pure irritation to read as time goes on the plot feels way to forced

there's around 80+ useless chapter we he go to cultivation world to get a fruit. That's whole arc is basical cringe tournament . I also don't like the main love interest. read it for yourself don't believe others opinions 💯
