Give-and-take cycle were both benefits the two. They used to hate each other. Technically, it wasn’t breaking her own promise, she derived from her own conclusion after asking for guidance.
But she casted a spell to him when she realized that it is impossible for her to tame a guy like Hoqur. A spell that would only work for a day and night, but it will be broken when the midnight comes.
