The Ice Witch TIW

Elliciara awoke with a start to the sound of screaming. As she sat up, her attention was caught by tiny points of flying lights winking into life in the sky. Her eyes followed it as it flew into the air as one, arcing silently, gracefully up and over like comets. The arcane missiles of magics came to earth quickly, and struck the buildings with an ear-splitting explosions.

Elliciara hastened downstairs, and pushed out into the freezing winds of the night. Her eyes fell upon corpses, most of them were elemental wielders, fallen in the place where they had made a stand.

As she was rooted from her spot, a man approached her with a wicked-looking dagger. Elliciara gasped and began to tremble, as the man moved towards her, drawing his weapon from its sheath. He grabbed a fistful of her hair, and brought the blade up to her throat.

Elliciara cried out a stream of high-pitched pleading of words, and suddenly, the man sliced the dagger swiftly across her throat severing her windpipe with one brutal cut.
Elliciara dropped to the ground, curled in agony in a pool of her own spreading blood.

Years passed. The land where the raid had been fought lay empty and lifeless, but elemental magics, frozen bloods and corpses gathered to where Elliciara's remains. She has been reborn as an ascended being of the coldest winter, an embodiment of a never-ending frost and magics.

She could recall words of forgotten arcane spells, the true power of ice and the agony of hundreds mortal deaths. Though Elliaciara past lifetimes have faded from her memory, she knows her purpose: she must revenge her clan at all costs.
