Noah had me with "Will you allow me court you?" - That was such a Jane Austen like line. But our MC is not that easy:)
I really like the chemistry between these two. Even though Noah is a bit pushy, I like that William is able to keep his stance and with each attempt just sways for that milimeter more. Keep up the good work:)
Oh and I think that the cake as well as the 2-finger-promise at the end is linked to their past. My wild guess: Noah was feeling oppressed by his family always pushing him in the direction of sweets making. He really started to hate it. But then William (being a childhood friend or a random acquaintance) tasted it and critised it so earnestly that for the first time Noah felt the need to improve and work hard. When he saw Williams delighted face at the second time his passion grew and both the sweet-factory-heirs promised to work hard and in the future be rivals or even that William will open a patisserie where Noah could bake freely.
I am curious to see whether I got something right:)
You guess is mostly right. Well done. 👍 There's another part to it as well.
Thank you for all your compliments. I'm working hard on getting the chemistry right for those two as they have different personalities and William doesn't want to be openly gay.
