I really liked the story. I am fan of power-couple and strong female lead genre which kept me hooked. But major concern with this novel is the consistency. I was very disappointed with FL's character (I have only completed half of it I don't know if it will make me change my opinion in the next half). The author have shown FL as a genius in both medicine and business. She is also trained in secret organization. Even though it didn't quite sit well with me that these r totally unrelated field, I can ignore it as it was the premise of the story. When u describe any character with so many exceptional qualities u have to make sure to showcase those in every part of the character to make it believable. But major flaw I felt was that FL was never shown vigilant towards new people getting close to her. It is always shown that she is walking in traps without having any backup plan and at the end everything gets solved. I can understand in some cases author likes to create an interests within readers by making them believe that leads are behaving stupid but revealed later on that it was part of a plan. But in this novel I didn't find any such case. Here the FL actually didn't hv plan and it was blamed as she was powerless in front of family. Unfortunately the family bonds was not portrayed so strong which will make this excuse acceptable. From the first chapter it shows that she came for revenge from her uncle's family so it makes u question why is she trusting everyone so easily. How can u show her as strong business woman if she is so gullible. How FL treats her family it gives the impression that she might even forgive her uncle if he realised his mistakes. I felt that it was biased bcuz u can't blame everything on your aunt and say your uncle just got fooled ( just bcuz he is ur family). He also needs to bear the punishment. In contrast I felt ML character was defined very well. He is also powerful but he is very rational. I really liked that he never leave anything/ doubts unresolved and always tries to make back-up plans. But I would really appreciate the author for all the hard work and best of luck for future works.👍
