Is this old man had too much anger centered on the innocent light branch head to not use all evidences to make a worldwide announcement of Light guild and even possibly the kingdom's entire royalty, noble, departments/organizations, and especially the church for being under and even colluding with demons!?
Note that, (1) all acts known and witnessed are considered evidence in such time, (2) church is no longer a church once related with demon which is a common sense people should understand and no God would would protect or even bless such group, and (3) if these NPCs made by the most powerful AI which boast near-real experience, then they shouldn't be so dumb to act like scripted out and are able to think and act for themselves with or without any Player's influence (which is the one of the vrgame related novel's source of plot fail as proven by 99% of all chinese and japanese novels).
