Chapter comments on the chapter Connections (Part 2) of the book Blood & Juniper (A Vampire Tale)

Does the later chapters explain where she goes when she tells Sam that she needs to change on who she feeds from? For instance when she was walking down the alley and she had the bad feeling so they went the other way. Does it explain later on those actions and feelings ? And does it also explain on what happens when she looks in the mirror and loses herself ?
