This is really weird.. first of all, nekohime doesn’t know anything about her race bastet blessing.. she only did the ‘deed’ with jason because she have no choice, it’s her mating time and she truly love jason.. this all is planned by her mother, so the one who’s truly in the wrong is nekohime mother.. Second, Jason didn’t try to give nekohime a chance to explain herself at all and just give her the punishment.. is that how a good leader treat his subordinates?? What if another subordinate of jason make a mistake in the future? Will he just punish them immediately without giving them a chance to explain?? +50 for being better at leading?? For me it’s -1000 for getting worse at leading.. 😔😔

Jason needed to not be so shallow and bend to everyone else's will with so much trust since the beginning. She did wrong by him and could have easily lead to his death. I know he will forgive her in the future as she did not mean any harm to him. But as of now he has shown that as a leader of his faction he cannot be taken as lightly and that the people in his faction should be transparent and honest to him. This chapter made me happy as even though all will be forgiven in time he has shown that he deserves to be the leader here.
