One of the best stories in web novel- ever. I know that the plot is somewhat a clichè, but i like how the author wrote this story. This story is a journey, how the lead characters develop, from enemies to friends to lovers to parents. I love that this wasn’t something like “i will save the day for you” kind of ML, he was there, but he respected the FL. This was more realistic and relatable in a sense. There were over the top moments, like they were both the best of the best, but we all fall for that kind of story, i mean who doesnt, like? Amazing vocabulary btw, dear author. I love the banters, the lines and my favorite? How Mr. Mo professed his love to our dear Qian Meng. It’s not just the i love yous uttered, but the overwhelming emotions seen through one’s eyes. Ugh, i’ll miss this couple 💜. Thanks author for this story 💜

I had a really good time re-reading this story. The characters are really interesting and well-developped. We can see them grow all along the story and let's say it, it isn't easy and found on others story.So, to conclude, a really well written story that I recommand !

This felt real, like it could happen in real life. It’s not that there weren’t many ups and downs, but the way that they were solved and written out seemed plausible and not ridiculous in some other works. This was written very eloquently, and it dealt with some real emotions. It was beautiful. The focus is mainly on the main couple, and the POV seems to be mostly the FL. It would have been interesting to have an epilogue/extra chapter where there is another POV like their secretaries or something. The writing quality was good, though there were some misgenders and some spelling errors. This is definitely NSFW. Please don’t read this at work.

Loved the personality of both the ML and FL. The growth was nice and slow, not rushed at all. Overall a great read with lots of humor in it.

I love the storyline and the FL is not stupid , also the ML Loves only the FL and there’s no childhood sweetheart disturbing and being evil to their relationship

Loved this book hate that it came to an end but it has to. Love that it showed how they came to love each other and the whole process of it.

may be it is good bt not my taste... FL's thought process as a 29 years old women is quite childish... She is not stable... I didnt get a moment of peace reading the book as FL's POV... in her previous life, as a CEO, her character is so gullible!!! She blved her husband blindly and i dnt knw on what basis... Its not like she was blind bcz of love... She had resources, brain to lead good life bt she did nothing and led a life like a helpless female who doesnt have any capabilies to fight back... weird... i droped the book after reading few chapters...

This is my second novel I have read from this author, and once again, I wasn’t disappointed. The story line is creative and the story telling is superb. There were some minor grammatical errors and a few gender/point-of-view errors, but heck… this author sure knows how to write! 😻😻😻

This is my first review ever and I’m so glad it’ for this book. I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. The characters were amazing, the storyline was interesting. There were no fillers or unnecessary chapters. You get to watch the characters grow and develop into better versions of themselves. And let’s not even get into the s*x scenes. I love this book and I’m a little sad that I have to say goodbye to the characters but overall it was a great journey. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who’s tired of the stereotypical storylines and cliches and even to readers who are new to this genre. This was a 10/10 book for me.

I liked it. Good story. Good ending. Overall ok to read and enjoy. Good snu snu In there ;). Reveng yes but not hardcore. Good character growt. ML and FL don’ have the typical misunderstanding between them. If there is some they will be cleared in the next couple of chapters. Not dragging it. It’s a easy and light read.

Opposed to the cliché plot that could be seen through the summary, the story is NOTHING like that. This story is not your regular CEO romances where they romance more than they spend their time counting profits (which businessmen would highly account for). Here you could glimpse through a realistic setting set in the corporate world with slight rebirth, sporadic laughter pill style of comedy, and an everlasting sigh as the story nears it's end. The tension, the comedic relief and the way the entire story flows just leaves you mind boggling. The MC and ML both are wonderful, hardworking and INTELLIGENT in their own way and when I say, intelligent, they are not the type to know it all but actual high intelligence of a human with a flawed personality. Personally, I like the author's narration and way of writing and I'm looking forward to read more of author Jie's story!
