The Twelve Seas are governed by the three fundamental laws of Chronodynamics. Whether it be through magic or technology these laws must be adhered to:

1. Time is a parabolic entity. It must always move forward.
2. Timelines cannot be created or destroyed.
3. The slowing or acceleration of time will result in an opposite and equal reaction.
