Naoko and Mito Uzumaki-Namikaze where hailed as the heroes of Konoha since the Yin and Yang Chakra of the Nine tailed fox were sealed inside them. They got all the attention they've ever want, while their brother Naruto was neglected by their parents and occasionally beat up by the villagers for claiming to be the son of their hero Minato.
