I was trying to chew through the poor verbal exposition dump, but you lost me IMMEDIATELY at ex-assassin with a piggy bank.....I know this is gonna get deleted, because how else would this novel have such a high rating? But if I can save One Poor Soul from suffering this tragedy, it was worth it.

The main character talked and acted like a narcissistic mary sue child (poor impulse control, constantly expositioning on how surprised he is to be so good at everything, completely ignores what other people might think or how they would react, tends to rely on his seemingly inhuman "martial arts" abilities (which are more raw speed and strength than any sort of positioning or technique)Many of the reactions to him are generic "scared into surrender" submission or "die for my pride" idiocy. It's just not worth reading another thoughtless power fantasy where the MC gets by more on extreme power and luck than clever planning and well chosen allies.

some transitions between chapters are confusing and make no sense l. I think there are 2 such in the first 100 chapters. where the following chapter is in a completely different setting, action he is doing and where he is. this again happens at chapter 110 going into 111. how the heck did him sneaking into the cave, killing 1 bandit, transition to home now suddenly fighting the people chasing him for killing the bandit boss. it's so confusing at times. also a proof reader is needed, there are minor issues that need fixed. overall a good novel.

The novel started well but as the other reviews say it became boring and inconsistent, if someone wants to start reading it, first read the reviews of other users, almost all of them say the same thing.

Well, at first it was really interesting, but as the author himself acknowledged, it got boring!
Author continued to decrease chapter size more and more and throw cannon fodder every two chapters...
And worst of all... the love interest. Man how I hated this with this completely uninteresting character.
Also, the development of the other characters is interesting, but sometimes the amount of time that is left out of the main character is unpleasant.

The Writing Quality, Story Development, Character Design and World Background are good, but the updating stability isn't. Why is it only 1 chapter/week. It's like we're always walking on thin ice everytime, always worrying about what will happen next to the character but being cut short by the 1chapter/week.

Hello. I started to read this and the first 10-20 chaps was kinda good! I really like the "gaming" genre and so on, but i have to say after getting 100 chaps in it kinda sucked. Somethings with the logic of the game and how the mc is presented. He is the one of the best assassins ever lived, but cant see people with guns down the street? no awareness. He is so good that he gets his own skills, but suddenly sucks at being an assassin. next the writing needs an editor who goes through it. Many poorly written sentences and even entire paragraphs. I even saw an entire paragraph with only one punctuation at the end. ONE, in like 70-80 words. So yeah, it works for someone, not for me though.

It has the ability to be a great novel, however you skip out on too much information that is the stuff that makes a novel captivating and enjoyable.
For example between chapters 110 and 111, the entire event is skipped out and the whole infiltration and fight scene is brushed over. You can't expect the readers to believe that during the time he infiltrated the hideout, the other group managed to get all their members assembled, locate the hideout and kill all the remaining NPC's so that the MC can just stay hidden and follow on.
Too many missing details, plot points and just inconsistencies in the story that's butchered a potential great novel.
It's understandable that filler chapter's and info can get generic and occasionally boring but to skip out on everything..... it feels too rushed.
Not going to bother talking about the grammar because at this point after reading enough novels on this site I've come to expect that it's not a strong suit of many writers, along with their proof reading.

I drop it when he change class to herb hunter and someone got the night king assassin class why would he take a class with a corny name herb hunter hahahaha and give up being an assassin for being able to use basic spells

Yea this one was aight, I liked it better than guild wars but there is a lot of random inconsistencies that are really simple fixes. At least the pacing was ok. In the 300's the gaming elements just get super repetitive and I just started skipping them.

I love the novel not because it was game/life kind of reality but the way the story is presented to the mind of we the readers .
For me, I will say that the author did his work very well and now we're enjoying the it . Still waiting for more chapters π . Shadow!!!

Honestly, i do agree like the others that this novel has potential but there are just details you put in there that made me drop it. the thing that irritates me the most was the switch with classes. assassin gets a hunter master class and a hunter gets an assassin master class. You might have reasons or plans for this but its seriously putting me off. also i honestly dont get how a real life super assassin bullies guilds with hundreds of players while he couldnt even kill a team with 3 players who somehow could launch a surprise attack on him. Try to be consistent or at least put in more attention to details.

Would like for the author to find a decent editor, though I enjoy the idea of an assassin starting his life over due to the poor translation/editing its hard to Stay interested when you are mentally correcting the authorβs mistakes.

Read as far as i could prior to The privelage paywall. this site should not allow for privelage payWall with a reLease rate Of 1ch per week.
On another note, i was entertained by this novel, addicted even, the story Issues did not bother me as much as the terrible release rate.
If i had oNe major complaint, is thst story progRession is sLowed after about 150-200 chapter mark. I mean, it seriously Just hard stops, the Chapter 300+ is legit the same quest and same routine that is just very obviously trying to grab some more money from readers.

Honestly im much more interested in his real life.. he is like a ferocious tiger that looses his fangs and claws in the game.. he is the highest player but he always run even if his enemy is just low levels and a single party of 5 or 6.. btw im already chapter 130+ and im starting to loose interest in this novel.. i hope next chapters will see much improvement of the author.. good luck

The story becomes very inconsistent at times and I think that when the mc became a herb hunter instead of an assassin instead really just made things just kinda take a turn and really throw off the story because I think that if the mc were to become the disciple of the knight king things would have been so much cooler because the mc is an assassin and that should make it really easy for him to understand and make things interesting in the game world....but that is just my opinion.

While this novel does make use of some themes created by another person, it seems to expand on them in a very creative way and has set up a world that is both original and amazing. I do wish that it updated more frequently though as I really enjoy this novel and cannot wait for me. There are a few translation errors.
