I think it's dumb to "wait for the right time". I mean what are you gonna wait for?? It's not like your family is overly attached to the guy! They even dislike him! Moreover, don't you think it's best to tell them sooner about his heinous acts/plans with your so called "best friend"? It's ideal to sever ties and drop all pretenses your family had with your ex. That way they won't also hold back and fight back. Gosh this is so frustrating.
