In my own opinion I think that Mei should wait for Yuchen to tell her on his own. Some things are very personal, and even between married couples it takes time for someone to open up about their hurtful past. I’m not saying that Mei doesn’t have a right to know, cause she most certainly does, I’m just saying to give him some time. And what’s with “if you don’t tell me don’t expect me to be a wife” spiel, I mean come on, marriage is not supposed to be like that, and if he was even considering telling you, that would make him clam up again for the fact that you got mad when he didn’t tell you what you wanted to hear. All I’m saying is that Yuchen is vulnerable right now and he doesn’t need Mei pushing/threatening him to tell her something that he’s just not ready to speak about. ☺️

Mei is selfish. Pushing someone to tell you something in their past is not nice. There is a reason something that weights heavily in someone is hidden. She should wait till he is ready to tell her. She is acting very immature in this manner. She is his wife then she should have taken his feelings into consideration and waited by his side for when she was ready.
