An absolute masterpiece!! The translation is perfect, the story is also very refreshing and different from the normal cliched ones. It's almost like this was produced by a whole crew to be as good as it is. There is nice character developement and world building . And even with all that there is no lack of humour. I have a habit of dropping novels midway because there story just starts to get boring but none of that with this one, i'm almost at the end of it. For anyone thinking of reading this, i strongly suggest you to do so, the story will keep you invested.

How should I put it? I like this novel as reader but I hate it due to my personality. The world set in this story is quite used for post-apocalyptic genre and Mc's IQ fit his background. No much plot armor nor nonsense development. At beginning, I liked how the story was developing, but after a while, my head began to hurt. I stopped read this novel after noticed the steady level of Mc's intelligence. I was afraid that I may become stupid as the MC at some point. However, good novel.

Honestly man this is such a great book I don't know why there aren't a lot of people reading it. Even though the plot may seem like a clique the story is marvelous. The raw emotions and experience we feel while reading is fabulous. If you are still hesitating press that read now this instant!!!

good character and world background... Unlike some other novel, in The First Order, every character are realistic and unique. Everyone in the novel has their own strength, goal and personality. what i see in the book is a lot of people trying their best to survive on the wasteland, trying to make a living and protect those the care about. It may not be a perfect book, but if you want a story with vivid characters and a storyline in which MC is both not a saint or demon, and is not ruthless wannabe, give it a try. p.s. I found that there is a sequel of it, about another story happened, like several hundred years after The First Sequence. It is still being serialized in chinese, It's chinese name is 夜的命名术. I'm looking forward of it's translation, hope that it's a good book.

Tbh, I am puzzled why others are saying that the first part of the book is only good and it gone downhill after that. In fact I almost gave up during the first chapters because I found it to very cringe, a system who can copy other super powers, another ruthless wannabe mc and etc. But I gave it a chance and it turned out that it was actually a great read. Actually I find this book very interesting, it gives a glimpse of how things would looked like after a post apocalyptic world. Here in this book, the world is ruled by organisations called "consortiums" basically they are like a company who controls political and military power. It is centered around a so called "strongholds" there are approximately a total of 178 stronghold, each stronghold is like a city where it houses hundreds of thousands of people. And there we can see that this alliance of stronghold is the what's left of what's left on the once brilliant civilization of humanity but was ended after a nuclear war. Each consortiums have their own number of stronghold basically they can be describe as a country each having their own strongholds. Now, each strongholds have their own so called "refugee towns" and the treatment of refugees is vastly different from a citizen of a stronghold Now let's talk about the mc, the mc is actually well written for me, although I had my own misconceptions at first due to reading to much ruthless wanna be mc in other trash novels, from what I read there is actually a reason why he turned out that way, first of all he is a refugee and in the refugee camp in a post apocalyptic era human rightsnand morality is something that will be laughed at by others, it's a dog eat dog World. Most of them would scramble for food, even killing others to steal their foods and belongings and most likely anybody would become ruthless if they want to live. From what I read in other reviews , they said that on the later part of the story they said that the mc feels forced, stating that he gone too soft from a ruthless guy to someone who would save others even if its supposed to be inconvenient form him. from my experience of reading almost 1033 chapters, Ren Xiaochu experienced growth guys, in the past he used to be ruthless and uncaring for others except for his younger brother because the situation called for it, he is weak and grown into a place where it is kill or be killed, but as times goes on his powers also grew, he met a lot of people where he experienced friendship, and found people whose light haven't been corrupted by the sorrows of their era, such as Chen Wudi.

It hard to find a novel that is so and still engaging that kept you reading all the time but the first order broke the norm. I got to say this because I read 991 chapters on one go so I can say the pace of the story is great. You feel like there are no fillers at all. All the words, all the sentences means something and I read them all. The story is based on post apocalypse world and the mc got everyone favourite power : the ability to copy other power and system... But that doesn't made him OP, sorry he is one of the strongest but he doesn't OP

Really happy that this is being translated, the manhua adaptation doesn't do it justice but I still hope more people will get interested in the story and check the novel out. Hopefully the upcoming anime adaptation will be good

A stor that Is above avererage, at least initIally. Even with a generic Op system. what gives Charm to the story is the world building. And the MC regreshingly divergent interactions. Although his EQ is pretty low for many situations he’s clever in other ways that End up being well suited for the poverty stRicken environment. Can’t speak for later chapters.

I love the story, so I'll be giving it a full 5 stars. If you like this, you may like 'Embers Ad Infinitum' which is very similar and even better in my opinion.

What a masterpiece.What a rollercoaster.I just finished book. Awesome book. Great characters.I will remember some of the characters in my lifetime and hopefully never forget.

This novel reminds me of the Avalon of five elements, which is very dear to me. So therefore my dear author, since you've poked my sweet spot you better take responsibility or else hmph!

A great story, amazing and magnificent. The way the scenarios are describes, can feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins each time a fight scene comes up and MC just grits his teeth and endures and fights. Wow. Jokes and fun writings mixed with emotional and adventurous scenes. Can't ask for more. Love it.

This is one of the must read novels in today's generation... In addition, it does not have clichés like most novels... the MC is funny, smart, principled.

This is one of my new favorite books. I love everything about the book itself. The only thing i dont like is the slow uploads of only 1 chapter a day. I found the raws but idk if the translator is going off the raws and cleaning it up or actually translating it from the originals. I would love if It was more then 7 chapters a week.

The main character is too epic and the guy doesn't play by the book. And the way author mix funny with ideologies is brilliant. I loved every chapter of this Novel.
