Dakota Grey was the daughter of a shapeshifter (werewolf) and a vampire. It was a forbidden love. They couldn’t stay apart so they fled, hoping to raise their child in peace. After 20 year of peace and solitude, an unexpected attack befalls them and claims the lives of both parents.
Dakota manages to escape. But now she’s on the run. Vampires and Shapeshifters alike are after her.
So is Leo Hawkes. He’s a hunter, from a young age he was raised to hate the shapeshifters. Especially because of what they did to his family.
