Perhaps it's a culture difference of valuing family ties more, but after it is established that he literally has the mind of a 30 year old bodybuilder in a child's body, I can't take him crying for his mother in Mandarin with any seriousness. It just seemed a bit too childish and ridiculous. Even if he's been gone from home for years. It's fine to be disappointed and miss your family, but to take it to that extent doesn't seem like he was once a fully grown man. Then again, when I grieve my emotions just go numb, so I can't really relate.
why are people thinking it is stupid of him for crying for his parents in this situation. he was taken from his family without any hope to ever see them again and when he suddenly had the slight sight of some hope it is chrushed right in front of you. not cry in this situation is by no means strength would be pure lack of heart.
all these 12 year olds dont understand what losing people is like. his parents are in another world they might as well be dead he'll never see them again then he gets some hope and it literally goes up in flames of course he's sad that isn't a culture thing that is a human thing lol
the MC is 30 years old and a bodybuilder the problem is they made him a man child which is dumb because a bodybuilder has a lot of mental strength you cannot become a bodybuilder if your week in mind
